I got this around 6 months ago and it has already saved me some 4-5 tickets easily. I am a bit of a dasher, especially on the freeways. And I have been warned of police radars by this detector, well before it was too late. Awesome piece of equipment.
What's great about it: Few false detects, Prompt radar and laser detects
What's not so great: None
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good detector for the money , great range but I really miss the voice alert on my old Beltronics. When it spoke the type of radar it detected never had to take your eyes off the road. The display is a little hard to read and the tones are not distinct enough. If I had it to do over I would buy another Beltronics.

I had the earlier model and it is a great radar to use. I have never gotten a ticket. I actually do not drive very fast but I use it to prevent from getting traffic tickets in case I accidentally go over the speed limit even if I do not intend to drive very fast. This new model has greater range than the older model so it will be better than the older one. I like to drive with the police radar detector on.
