Outstanding product

This dishwasher is so quite I had to keep checking it to make sure it was on since my last dishwasher was much louder. It is simple to use and the unit overall is stylish. I was hesitant at first do to the price but now I am glad I purchased it. I love the bottle wash option since I have kids and I had to wash the bottles and small cups by hand since either there was stuff still on the bottom of the bottles/ cups or they would flip over during the wash but I don't have to worry about that anymore.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What a machine!

I have only had this machine for a few days but so far I‘m totally impressed. My nine year old Brand X was going into it's 4th repair this year so it was time to replace. Decided to go GE this time and so glad I did. Narrowed the search to a few models and went to the local appliance store (not a big box store) to see them all. Selected the PDT750 because of all it's features. It was installed the next day and so far, I couldn't be more satisfied. It is so quiet you need to look at the "Cleaning - Drying - Clean" display to see what it's doing. The cleaning it does on even the toughest of jobs (dried rice and cheese) is unbelievable. No more "does this need to go through again"! Very flexible loading too. All things considered, this machine is a jewel. GE really did bring good things to life!

Falling apart. Less than two month old.

We purchased this less than two months ago. Last week the door would not open fully because of a problem with a large chunk of black rubber material falling out of the door and interfering. We have pushed it up out of the way to get the door to open. Now pieces of this rubber like substance falling out when we open or close the door.

Door is very difficult to close

I bought my first unit 3 months ago. First one came DOA. Was replaced with same model. GE installed it so it is not my installation. The door is almost impossible to close and hold close. You must attempt to close 4-10 times before it will hold close and start the wash cycle. Sometimes during the wash the door will pop open. I do not understand such a poor door latch, very poor quality!!
I would stay clear of any GE dishwasher with this type of closing latch.

Leaks like a sieve, corrosion on all components
on July 16, 2014

This is a horrible dishwasher. Leak sensor didn't detect a leak that pretty much destroyed all components under the dishwasher.
It's quiet, but cleans very poorly. Worst dishwasher I ever had.
Bottle nozzles are useless gadget as they do exactly same job as any place on the rack.
Unit has been repaired 2 times and still leaks. Different dishwasher will be installed tomorrow and this goes back to the store.

Disappointed
on August 12, 2014

I bought the appliance package, and while the stove and refrigerator are really solid, the dishwasher is cheaply made. I have had two different leak problems, the first gave no alarm and caused my new hardwood floors underneath to curl. The second leak alarm will not allow me to use the dishwasher at all. The dishes are NOT DRY after a cycle, even if I choose the hot wash and power dry. The racks inside are loose fitting and don't seem sturdy enough to last the test of time. Since this dishwasher has been installed in my house over 2 months ago, I have been hand washing my dishes more than I have been able to use the dishwasher. Needless to say I am disappointed.

Love this Dishwasher!

This is the best dishwasher! It has little 'stoppers' for wine glass stems, and plenty of room for pots and pans on the bottome shelf. It is really quiet! Sometimes I have to open it to make sure it is running. It has a nice appearance too.

Worst dishwasher ever!

I have washed my dishes 3 times still some are dirty. The dealer told me there were water jets coming from the sides and there are fans that shoot water under each basket. Still not clean. It is quiet though. Doesn't matter how quiet it is if its not cleaning my dishes.
