My Dishwasher Does What?!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never knew what I had been missing! Doing the dishes had become such an obnoxious task that my wife and I dreaded doing them and ended up arguing who had to do it. We have a small family of 4 kids that are 4 and under, and anytime that we do have is rare and precious. The last thing we want to do with that time is to waste it on washing dishes.
After 5 minutes if talking to a "REAL" Bosch appliance dealer, I learned more about washing dishes in general then I had in the last week and the several stores I'd been too. The other salesmen were just not as knowledgeable, and you can tell that it was just a "job" and not a career for them so their depth of knowledge was lacking in comparison.
After my quick lesson on the proper way to wash dishes and how dish soap has changed over the years, I was then explained all the amazing features that a Bosch washer has and what they have done to compensate for new federal regulations regarding the soap changes.
It was plain to see that Bosch was the clear choice. That included with their service record, and being the #1 rated appliance online through the research I did.
I could not have been more excited to get my new washer home and it has blown me away form the first moment I turned it on. To me doing dishes meant an our hour of scraping, rinsing and scrubbing the dishes to a practically clean state before using my old dishwasher, which has essentially become a glorified dish dryer.
I can now do the dishes in less then half the time it took before and they come out spotless every time! No longer is it a dreaded task, and now my wife and I are rushing to get to the dishes and its now a competition to see just "how dirty" we can load the dishwasher. So far they come out spotless every time. I can't even tell that the dishwasher is running it is so silent, but they took care of that was well by adding a light that shines on the floor while it is on otherwise you would not know.
The 3rd row rack up top I initially thought was a bit excessive, but that has become one of my favorite parts. I put all of my bottle nipples and lids that before I never knew where to put in my old washer and now they come out sanitized each time with the sanitize feature of the washer.
They have made it so simple to use the dishwasher with the "Auto" feature. I use that setting every time that way I am not wondering if they will be clean or not. The Bosch just measures the water in the dishwasher to see how clean/dirty it as, and just keeps washing till it sees the water is clean.
I am a rather "cheap" person and I never would have thought of spending this on a dishwasher, but for the time that it saves me and the stress of dishes being eliminated from our busy lives, I would have paid double for the peace of mind this dishwasher has given me.

It cleans very well

Bought the machine three months ago, and since we wash only a couple times a week it sits as we put dirty dishes in the unit. THE PROBLEM IS IT STINKS BETWEEN WASHES. Have tried to wash at night and leave the door open all night, this helps a little, but it still stinks. Have owned many washers and never had this problem before.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This model stinks. Literally!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never written a review online, but would like to save you the trouble I have experienced with this model. If you do not believe me, google anything related to Bosch and bad odor. You will be amazed that the reviews go back to 2006, yet this is still a problem for many consumers. I purchased this unit after much deliberation and hours of reading reviews. It originally had both a "spoiled" odor as well as a "hot/burned plastic" odor. It is not hooked to a disposal, so this is not the source of any food odor. That particular odor diminished after running the unit about 12 times in 3 days (no kidding), sometimes empty, sometimes partially filled.
The hot/burning did not diminish, and it's been about 4 weeks now. The unit it run daily. If you are not sensitive to smells, you may not be bothered by it. I find it nauseating.
As others have mentioned, the dishes on the top 2 racks never completely dry, even if left shut for 12 hours. Disappointing. Also smudges easily and is harder to keep clean than other SS appliances I own. For a higher-end, well-reviewed model, I expected so much more. Washing is average. Twice in one week, have had to re-wash dishes, and I rinse well first.

Good appliance but SMELL is terrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like this dishwasher ALOT except for the smell. If I could find one that looks as good, works as quietly, and is built as well I would replace it in a heartbeat. the smells is definitely the plastic racks and how they are molded or the material used in the molding process. There are enough reviews and years of complaints about this issue (and it is not food or drain related) that they should invest in redesigning the racks so they do not smell.
I would love a replacement of the racks as this is only 2 weeks old----sad.

Amazing dishwasher

We have been using this dishwasher for aout 2 months and love it - best dishwasher we have ever owned. One of the best features is how quiet it is. We have a very open floor plan and the kitchen, dining room and living room are all in one large open space. No one ever knows that the dishwasher is runing. At first, my cats were intrigued by the red light on the floor and tried to step on it, but it does not move so they quickly gave up on that. The dishwasher holds so much more than any of our previous dishwashers. The third rack is great for more than just silverware - small items that would fall through the cracks on the lower shelves like small plastic lids, spoon rests. The adjustable rack height for larger items works well. We did play around with various settings and do now use the Automatic setting with the Sanitize option which dries the dishes and glassware better and faster than the regular settings.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bosch Dominates the Competition

I have been a loyal customer because of the quality Bosch puts into all their products. I recently purchased my second Bosch dishwasher, the first stayed in another home that I sold. Of course this one has been redesigned and features have been added that my other dishwasher did not have, but the consistency of expert craftsmanship and innovated ideas still remains.
I ran my first load of dishes last night and was quite pleased with the results. During the wash cycle you almost need to put your ear against the machine to hear it run. The dishes, glasses and silverware came out sparkling clean and dry. No surprise to me as I expected exactly what I would get from a company and product like Bosch. Thank you team Bosch for not compromising and turning out quality products. By the way, I am a professional Chef and I demand quality in all my kitchen equipment both on the job and at home.

Best Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best dishwasher that we have purchased. The third rack is incredible. Dishes come out clean each time. You can take out the drain cover and clean it. Absolutely love this dishwasher

Great...so quite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy with this dishwasher, better than I anticipated. Originally ordered 2/17/16 and was finally installed 4/28/16...definitely worth the wait! So quite that I would not know it is running without the indicator light. The flexibility for larger items in the lower rack is wonderful. I have already recommended to a friend who also purchased and is anxiously awaiting installation.
