My Dishwasher Does What?!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never knew what I had been missing! Doing the dishes had become such an obnoxious task that my wife and I dreaded doing them and ended up arguing who had to do it. We have a small family of 4 kids that are 4 and under, and anytime that we do have is rare and precious. The last thing we want to do with that time is to waste it on washing dishes.
After 5 minutes if talking to a "REAL" Bosch appliance dealer, I learned more about washing dishes in general then I had in the last week and the several stores I'd been too. The other salesmen were just not as knowledgeable, and you can tell that it was just a "job" and not a career for them so their depth of knowledge was lacking in comparison.
After my quick lesson on the proper way to wash dishes and how dish soap has changed over the years, I was then explained all the amazing features that a Bosch washer has and what they have done to compensate for new federal regulations regarding the soap changes.
It was plain to see that Bosch was the clear choice. That included with their service record, and being the #1 rated appliance online through the research I did.
I could not have been more excited to get my new washer home and it has blown me away form the first moment I turned it on. To me doing dishes meant an our hour of scraping, rinsing and scrubbing the dishes to a practically clean state before using my old dishwasher, which has essentially become a glorified dish dryer.
I can now do the dishes in less then half the time it took before and they come out spotless every time! No longer is it a dreaded task, and now my wife and I are rushing to get to the dishes and its now a competition to see just "how dirty" we can load the dishwasher. So far they come out spotless every time. I can't even tell that the dishwasher is running it is so silent, but they took care of that was well by adding a light that shines on the floor while it is on otherwise you would not know.
The 3rd row rack up top I initially thought was a bit excessive, but that has become one of my favorite parts. I put all of my bottle nipples and lids that before I never knew where to put in my old washer and now they come out sanitized each time with the sanitize feature of the washer.
They have made it so simple to use the dishwasher with the "Auto" feature. I use that setting every time that way I am not wondering if they will be clean or not. The Bosch just measures the water in the dishwasher to see how clean/dirty it as, and just keeps washing till it sees the water is clean.
I am a rather "cheap" person and I never would have thought of spending this on a dishwasher, but for the time that it saves me and the stress of dishes being eliminated from our busy lives, I would have paid double for the peace of mind this dishwasher has given me.

Best Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best dishwasher that we have purchased. The third rack is incredible. Dishes come out clean each time. You can take out the drain cover and clean it. Absolutely love this dishwasher

Great...so quite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy with this dishwasher, better than I anticipated. Originally ordered 2/17/16 and was finally installed 4/28/16...definitely worth the wait! So quite that I would not know it is running without the indicator light. The flexibility for larger items in the lower rack is wonderful. I have already recommended to a friend who also purchased and is anxiously awaiting installation.

Bad Smell

I bought this dishwasher about a month ago after researching and reading all of the positive reviews. I am not happy with it as there is a bad smell constantly. It was this way from the beginning and seems to be getting worse. I run the dishwasher and the very next day it has a very bad smell. The installer said if there was a smell to try putting white vinegar in the bottom which I have been doing after every wash, but it seems to not help now.
I also do not like the layout of the bottom rack as I cannot fit as many items as I have used to doing. The position of the tines makes it difficult to put pots and pans there. I took out the 3rd rack as I couldn't fit some items in the other two when it is in due to having to lower the 2nd rack.
I do love the quietness of the machine, just wish it washed dishes better and didn't smell.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm Impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The past few years I have moved frequently, and usually ended up replacing or adding a dishwasher. I have had all brands, usually the upper end models, which have done the job with various degrees of annoyance from noise. In this house my kitchen is open to the living room and the old dishwasher was extremely annoying in the evening. So I started looking at the noise ratings. Bosch was good, but expensive, so I checked out the dishwasher display in the store. When I compared the other dishwashers craftmanship and durability (yes I slam the door), there was no comparison. Bosch is well built right down to the impressive drain hose that came with it. I love the features...simple but variable. The jets are strong and blast food off pots and pans, but yet the machine is very quiet. I love the 3rd rack for those long utensils and odd items that usually end up rattling around the tub. For me, I think this will be the last dishwasher I need to purchase.

Excellent Clean. Quiet. Easy to Load

It is much easier to load, super quiet, dries well, and does a great job cleaning. My wife loves it too. I really like the red light on the ground that tells me it is running, and that it does not use an active electric element for drying, which means I can also load plastic items in the bottom.

Just Amazing!

From pots and pans to delicate glassware, everything comes out perfectly clean. If it wasn't for the light projected on the floor to let me know its on, i'd never know it was running. Great product!

Stinking dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the worst dishwasher I have ever had. The bottom rack is not adjustable. The dishes do not dry no matter what the setting. The worst part is it stinks all the time. After the wash cycle finishes and I open the door the smell is terrible and I have to leave the door open so the dishes can air dry.
I have had this dishwasher a month and have to replace it. I had a Bosch dishwasher in my other home and loved it. Unfortunately that model wasn't available.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
