Perfect for our son's apartment

nice looking microwave

Running noise a little louder than I would expect but then I'm no expert on how quiet a microwave should be. Only problem is the power level button stopped working when you push it. It stays on Hi (10) and won't reduce to 50% or what ever you need. It does heat food properly so I can live with that.
Pros: Style/Design, Performance, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 13 months ago, and it was just fine. Did what I wanted, no problem. Until it got close to the 1 year mark. Sometimes when the timer dings and I open the door and remove food and close door, the light stays on and the turntable starts spinning again, and the only way to stop it is to get to my very inconveniently located plug to unplug, then it resets. Probably should have taken it back then, but it is heavy and it was inconvenient so I hesitated, now its over the one year point.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this quite few months ago and wanted to get some use out of it before I reviewed it. It heats well and I love the carousel feature. The only thing I worry about is the button that opens the door. It seems a little flimsy to me and I worry that it might not last; but, so far so good.

Beware of interior blistering

I was gifted this three years ago and use it daily mostly for heating mugs of water and reheating foods, using a plastic microwave shield to contain spatters.
I was shocked to discover recently when removing a mug of tea that the center of the ceiling was covered with blisters of the gray coating on the metal! This is only after using this for 3 yrs! I had my previous microwave <15 yrs!
Needless to say I have stopped using it as I am sure it is dangerous to run now.
As others have noted it is also a noisy machine and should have back lit buttons instead of these useless gray on black numbers/letters.
