Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the few compact microwave ovens with an interior Light. Very efficient power usage, quick even cooking. The 12" turntable & 1.1 cubic feet interior volume are each the largest for this class, while the exterior dimensions are the smallest. I have only two concerns: The surface touch control screen is unlighted, and the numeral/buttons are "shadowy" and that makes it difficult to read, particularly in a darkened room. The oven is susceptible to loud vibrations, particularly when using low power (pulse) settings.

Cooks well, possibly overheats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave cooks well, but I'm concerned when it makes a strange buzzing sound when cooking something for a prolonged period of time. I have it in a wall cabinet, where it has 4 inches of clearance on either side and behind, as well as at least a foot above it. It buzzes when the cabinet doors are closed and it is cooking for more than a couple minutes (e.g., to cook potatoes). When this buzzing happens, I've noticed that it's particularly hot next to the microwave, so it might be an issue with air circulation. For my situation, it's an easy fix: cook with the cabinet doors open. Other people might want to know that it's important to follow the air clearance suggestions for this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this for over a month and it has been excellent. We replaced a much larger ,very old, microwave. This takes up much less counter space but still gives us all the cooking power of our old one. Controls are easy to use and it's large enough inside for casseroles etc.
