I've used this product to clean rooms with multiple floor types (hardwood/tile). It stops at the carpet automatically. I love this floor scrubber and now I want to purchase the Roomba for my carpet. I have pets (dogs/cat) and it picks up all the hair. It cleans the hair from my daughter's bathroom floor. I love the convenience. My only wish is that it would have a charger that it could return to and charge automatically like the Roomba model. It is perfect for routine cleaning. I am completely happy with my Scooba!
Pros: Easy Efficient Effortless
Cons: Could Clean Grout Better

WOW - Where have you been all my life

We are a bus business couple, with children in early 20's and our first grandchild. Time poor. The rumba scoops has freed up time, so we can be their for our children.
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Cleans Under Furniture, Easy To Use, Hassle Free Operation, Long Run Time
Cons: Long Charge Time

350 sf of tile and lino in home. 2 cats and a big Lab. I hate cleaning. I Got my 1st Scooba after having a Roomba for 10 + years, still have it but can't afford to upgrade (Retired)

It Does The Hard Work

The Scooba 450 is easy to use and clean. It does the heavy lifting of keeping our holiday home clean and scrubbed. I'd prefer if it had a scheduler like the Roomba vacuum. That way, I'd have it clean at night while everyone is sleeping. Overall, I highly recommend it.

I LOVE the Roomba, so obviously I was very excited to add the Scoomba to my work force at the house. It works great for small rooms ie: bathroom, kitchen, hallway. In large rooms however, it doesn't seem to clean as well. By the time it gets back to scrub and vaccum where it dropped water/cleaner, the solution is already dry. You have to divide up a large room in order for it to be effective. Also, the virtual walls that work with the Roomba DO NOT work for the Scoomba, so you have to buy a whole new set of virtual walls to keep the Scoomba where you want to clean. Other than that, it does a pretty good job of cleaning.
Pros: Easy To Use
Cons: Long Charge Time, Misses Spots, Noisy
