I have been using the lens for my remote work during the Covid19 pandemic. The 10MM matches my Laptop camera. Everyone wants to new how my video looks so good!

Nice & Wide Lens

This is my first wide angle lens and I can not be happier. I use this lens on a 60D and a 70D Mark 2, but even with the crop factor it's still pretty wide. I am very happy with the image quality. Now to photograph a whole new world.

Just received my EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM this past week. Focus is quick as in nearly anticipation mode and pretty much silent. Pictures are sharp and colors are real.
I must confess: I'm no professional and don't know all that is to be known about photography - terminology is a bit confusing yet. I just like good clean sharp pictures.

I selected this lens from a lot of thought and consideration; then decided this lens would fit my desires for now.
I am giving this lens a 4-star rating since I have only had it a week AND I will need a lot more time to experiment with it.

The E F-S 10-18 mm f/4.5-5.6 IS S.T.M lens are the best by far for an S.T.M Ultra Wide Angle Lens.When i first shot with it i was amazed an in such shock by the performance and quickness.It was very sharp and quiet,the weight made it even more comfortable to do hand held shots and angles for a longer amount of time.The lens is plastic and as well as the back mount,that's the only thing i'm that's not 5 Star about this lens.
Pros: Fast auto-focus, Superior build quality, Super-sharp images
Cons: Poor build quality

This lens comes very close to fulfilling my needs. I do wish it was sharper than it is. I do understand it’s a less expensive way to go, however a little more sharpness would go a long for me. Best F stop : 8,9.5 and 11.
