Excellent Printer

I have had my Epson WorkForce WF-2540 for approximately 6 weeks and put it through various print projects to include normal documents, copying and printing pictures. In all cases the printer performed in an outstanding manner with excellent quality results. You can't ask for a better printer for the price this unit sales for. I understand this model is being phased out or replaced by an upgrade model. I you have the opportunity to purchase this printer before it goes off the market I would highly recommend it for your home or office. I have two different computers in different rooms of the house WiFi-ed into this printer and they both print on command when printing documents.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Choice by Comparison

I was comparison shopping on-line as we needed a wireless printer for our home. I have a small business which I'm hoping to promote in 2015 and we have a college student in the house. We needed something that could handle printing photos, graphics and lots of "boring stuff". In a side by side comparison, this model was equal to or better than ALL the competition in the same range. Installation was easy, printing samples within minutes. It is compatible with all our computers and laptops, PC and Mac. I'm even printing from my mobile phone!

Christmas present that dose not work.

It was set up according to the paperwork but has not worked past the tenth copy. Bought a second set of printer ink and it will not work. I need someone to dial into the computer or printer and check it out. Please I need it in a hurry. Please help me. It came with a years warrenty.

Purchased Based on High Profile Endorsements

I purchased the Epson WorkForce WF-2540 All-in-One Printer based on the endorsements from Kim Komando and Leo Laporte as a replacement for a Lexmark Pinnacle Pro901. After installation, the wireless printer easily integrated with our home network. At this point, the printer has gone through the starter ink cartridges, and on the first set of regular ink cartridges. Ink cartridge yield will be a key factor on using this printer daily or only for special printing needs.

The Epson 2540 which was received as a gift on 12/15/14 is NOT easy to install by following the directions; plus Epson toll free phone number is only to sell Epson product; the number to call for support, which I need (or give up the Epson All In One) cast money, and more income per minute. I kind a makes Epson company untrustworthy?

Worked 3 Months

I loved this printer UNTIL I had a paper jam. Cleared it following directions. Worked about 2 days and same thing happened. Tried to clear it - cannot see any speck of paper - it will not clear - I can see where it jammed but cannot get to the spot - there is no visible way to get to it. I would NEVER recommend this one to anyone!

I purchased this printer for occasional printing/faxing/scanning. Faxing and scanning work well, but *every* time I have to print, I have to re-align and clean the heads at least two or three times before a half-decent page comes out. It turns out to be extremely expensive on a per-successful-print-page in terms of ink, paper and aggravation.
If you only need it on an occasional basis, this is definitely not the right printer for you.

This one is a disappointment

First let me say that I like Epson printers, but I do NOT like THIS Epson printer. The first one of this model failed after a mere two months. Sadly, I found Epson less than helpful although the retailer where I bought it replaced it willingly. Two months later, the replacement is working, but it has a number of annoying quirks. For example, it sometimes starts to run without any prompt on my part. It doesn't do anything except make noises, but I am at a loss to understand why it does anything at all. I have had problems with paper jams that I never had with my late lamented WF-610. I loved my two previous printers in the Work Force series, but my advice to potential buyers is to look at another model.
