The printer seems to do the job; BUT, THIS PRINTER GOES THRU INK TWICE OR THREE TIMES AS FAST AS MY FORMER PRINTER, which also was an Epson. What did Epson do to their printers, or is this the only model that sucks up ink this way? Not sure if I can use this printer as much as I would like to, because I can't afford to buy ink so often. Great deal for Epson, not so great for customer!

Completely Satisfied

Hi.
I am completely satisfied with my Epson WF-2540.
I had a 2003 Epson Stylus Photo RX500 and it has served us well for 10 years.
We print a lot of cardstock on our printer so that was a major requirement.
The Epson WF-3520 met that requirement and we had intended to purchase it, but the store was out of them. So we went with the Epson WF-2540, liking it's smaller footprint and assuming it would print cardstock. When we got it home and loaded the manual, the specifications did not include the heavier papers. We tried it anyway and after printing over 100 cards on .011" cardstock, the Epson WF-2540 continues to work beautifully.
Thanks,
C.S.

excellent all-in-one printer

I've owned the WF-2540 for approx, one year now. I believe I have used pretty well all of it's features, and all have done well. The reason why I didn't give it 4 stars is because I have had problems with the WIFI hook-up and needed outside help to get them fixed. I should add that I don't consider myself completely computer savvy.

I purchased the Epson 2540 all in one for myself. The installation was so easy & simple. This may well be a very good printer.

EPSON WF-2540

This is an older model but very solid. I had an issue with mine at 12 months but is was rapidly replaced with a new one and EPSON even paid for the return shipping. Their Customer Service is quite good and the Techs are very knowledgeable and spare no effort to make sure that you are satisfied. My only 'issue' is that the printer cartridges are a bit small and have to be replaced fairy often. Buy the XL Cartridges when you can. DO NOT use refilled or after market cartridges.

Worth every cent. Set up super easy. My 5 year old MacBook instantly found the printer on the network without having to download any drivers! iPad and iPhone a breeze also. Scanning straight to dropbox also. Perfect printing. Excellent product.

I bought the printer to use with my iPad wirelessly. However, there wasn't any instructions about Epson Connect, manuals beyond the quick start guide or how and why to register the printer. I finally connected the printer to my PC just so I could use it. I just started figuring out how to use it wirelessly after a whole afternoon. It's great now that I can use it wirelessly, but what an ordeal. Epson needs to do some serious simplification of their instructions for dim bulbs like me.
