I returned this printer. You must read it's description carefully! This printer does not have an auto document feeder feature and what's worse you have to go through an internet service in order to receive and send faxes. Bought the 7520 instead. Love it!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice printer and is well packaged. Set up takes approximately 30 minutes because of tape/packaging and ink installation. Step by step set up video on 3" screen makes placing the printer into operation quite simple. Wireless feature is incredibly easy. Unfortunately, printer occassionally feeds one to two additional sheets after print job is complete. I hope this goes away because I have never encountered any problems with the numerous other HP printers we purchased over the years. Ourselves, four kids, three in college and a recent college grad, makes for 5 printers and lots of ink!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Only had a short time, but very satisfied with performance. Set up wireless was easy and that says a lot for older person doing it. Sleek looking with small footprint.

I had a lot of trouble locating the product number and I tried to access help via customer service. It was tedious and unsatisfying. I finally did locate the Product number on the outside of the packing case, not where I was directed to look on the ID label attached to the rear of the printer. I believe I'll need to purchase a USB cable to hook up with my laptop. WINDOWS 8 seems to be a problem. I am an enthusiastic supporter of H-P and I'm confident I will, eventually, enjoy my Photosmart 6520.

Set up for HP 6520 double take

Prints great. I thought I was finished with a nearly automatic setup. NOT!!!!! I printed a couple of pages the first day. Great. Next day... had to do a complete install of the setup on the same laptop because it could not connect wirelessly this time. Will have to do complete install and set up on my other laptop also. Guess it'll be worth it because it does have the features I wanted. I haven't tried using the FAX or scan functions yet. The copy came out very nice.
