The printer seems to work OK, but the initial set-up was a real pain. I had to start over 4 or 5 times due to confusing directions and downloads and up-grades. When problems persisted, the support solution was to un-plug the device and then plug it back in. If they know that will solve the problem, why can't they eliminate the problem before it gets to the consumer! Seems like very poor product testing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I found the set up to be very easy and not being an expert in computer set up found that very refreshing. I got it done on the first try in relatively short time and that was connecting it to my home wireless network! I didn't purchase it for its photo printing but was particularly impressed with the quality of the pictures I did print on testing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice printer with great features

Replace an older HP printer that worked fine but needed to be connected to a desktop via USB. Now I can print wirelessly from desktop, laptop, ipad and iphone. The eprint feature works great! I also like the two sided copying ability. The printer sits in the closet on a shelf, always on and out of view clearing up my desk space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was a gift to my mom and if she can set it up, any one can. She was so happy with it she screamed. I haven't seen it work, but she is enjoying it.

Printer was very easy to set-up, Best feature was uses same ink as old printer. The one thing I hate is always changing cart, so you have to get rig of the old ones.

Great Printer for iMac

So far, I am loving this new printer and all of its features. The only downside is that the ink cartridges cost as much as the printer . . . but that is just about true of them all these days. I am hoping that the cartridges last a long time.
Really like the touch screen on the front of the printer and the fact that the printer automatically turns off if there is no activity for two hours. Wondering though how I would turn it on from my iPad if I were not at home???

My HP 5180 served me faithfully for the past six years and would probably go on for another, but I needed a printer that would print on both sides of the paper. My new HP 6520, which I just put up and running, is a mechanical marvel. I don't know how HP can continue with their improvements and still keep the price so low.
