I purchased this particular printer because my previous printer was also a photosmart which I loved. I had to replace it because it would not work with Windows 8, which is on the new computer I just got. This new photosmart also prints beautiful photos, which is the primary reason why I wanted it; I print lots of photos & want good quality. This printer does a good job of printing regular documents also. It is very quiet compared to other printers I've had, & is quite user friendly. One of the features I like about it is that there are 2 paper trays; 1 to keep regular paper in & 1 to put photo paper in. I do love this feature, however, I was disappointed that I cannot load the photo paper tray with paper larger than 5"x7". To make larger photos, I must replace my regular paper with photo paper & change the settings so it knows what tray to pull the paper from. The quality of prints makes this only a minor inconvenience, but I would like to suggest that HP make the next generation of this printer to accept up to full page size photo paper in the photo paper tray. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this printer to anyone who needs lab quality photos; you won't be disappointed in the quality.

This product did not work.

We have always used HP products and been very satisfied. This year we have sent two products back in a months time. The printer with first time use, when printing from the photo tray, made a loud cracking sound and then a grinding sound all the time that it printed. The grinding eventually stopped for the most part, but the loud cracking at the beginning of printing did not stop. Several hours were spent with tech support between my son calling, my trying to chat and finally talking to a tech. The unit is being replaced. We had just bought an HP notebook that did not work when we turned it on the first time. We were very dissatisfied that it was not replaced, but only repaired. We will think twice about buying HP again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Product super easy to use with good quality copies

I was very pleasantly suprised when the HPPhotosmart 6520 arrived at my home within two days of ordering, Although I had help from my tech savy daughter for the set-up, it went smoothly. ( It was easier to ask her than to figure it out on my own.) I love the ease of use especially the photo printing, I read that others had issues with the photo print paper needing to be HP but I've used Kodak print paper with it working fine. I only wish that photo prints were larger than 4x6 . Great printer for home office use.

I can't say enouph how much I am Glad I bought this Printer. I think for the Money, I got the Printer for An Exceptional price. The FEATURES are amazing, The Setup was a snap. All I had to do is let the download happen Online from HP and it was faster than I thought it would be. I definately recommend this PRINTER to anyone. I have nothing but HP Products, and I would not trade them for anything

Excellent Wireless Device

I purchased this all-in-one because I needed a wireless device. It was simple to purchase online and took me less than 30 minutes to install. It prints beautifully and I am very satisfied. The touch screen functions are great. Also, the delivery was super quick - at my door 48 hours after purchasing!
