excellent machine

this dryer is so much faster than our old one. it gets the clothes dry with the minimum of fuss and with the sensor, every load is dry on one cycle. we will never own another make.

This dryer has been and continues to be the best dryer I have owned. I have never had to continue drying the clothes after the original cycle was completed. It also seems to dry my clothes much faster than my old dryer. Overall it dries the clothes much faster, saving energy and it's easy to use.

Easy controls with many options that work, shows time that clothes due to be done and so far I have not had to add extra time to finish drying the clothes. The clothes come out fairly wrinkle free and if I remember to hang them up right away, then I don't have to iron. Chose this dryer to match my new 4870 washer but one of the unexpected features I really liked is that it is supposed to tell you when your vent pipe might be clogging up. I even like the little musical tune it plays when the load is dry. I chuckle when I hear it.

This product dries much faster than my last dryer and there is a lot less lint after a load is complete.

Reluctant buyer of high efficiency appliances

I have to admit, I was one of those that was very reluctant to buy any kind of high efficiency appliance. I read all I could to help me overcome this prejudice. Through the guidance of friends, Consumer Reports, and my retailer, I kept coming back to the LG products. While pricey, it has not been a disappointment. As a retiree, I was looking for a product that would provide me with many years of quality service. I think I have found it in the LG products. Good job, LG!

This is a great companion for our LG washer. It's quiet and efficient, which is a plus in our book. The tone signals are quite pleasant when compared with the old buzzers that we had. Since the machine is so efficient, drying time and electrical use are minimized.

Love the soft ding-a-ling notifications

Extra large capacity, super smart electronics analyzes things for you and dries them correctly. For me, I like my clothes drier than most people, so I will use the Timed Drying for that Extra Dry time.
My old drier used to make a horrible loud buzz when the cycle was done. Someone really put some thought into this cycle-end notification. It's like whispers of little bells, so I don't jump out of my skin anymore! Really, it's great.

The menu easily guides you to choose the optimum setting for the load. Permanent press clothing comes out wrinkle free. Best dryer we have ever purchased.
