I was a little nervous

Changing from my old standard to a new dryer with features that I wasn't sure I would understand was a little scary. I found this dryer to be very easy to use. The settings are easy to figure out, and the instructions are clear. I'm happy with my new dryer.

I can not tell you how much I love my new dryer. Just got in Mar. 2013. Large tub. So holds alot of clothes, Dries faster than my old machine. Love the chime at the end, still trying to figure out the tune. LOVE IT! Will recommend to friends. Very good product.

Actually, we also bought the companion LG washer and are ecstatic about both of them--by far the best dryer and washer we've ever owned!
Truth be told, the clothes are almost dry after they get out of the washer, so the dry time is short. What we appreciate about the dryer is how it gets out wrinkles. We also like the sensing feature(s).
Suffice it to say that this dryer--the washer too!--more than lives up to its reputation.

Great Dryer - Great Value

We purchased this dryer and its companion WT4870CW washer for a laundry room renovation of our winter home. So far, everything about this machine has been really good, with one glaring exception. The latch on the dryer door is rough, noisy, and lends the impression of cheapness to an otherwise great appliance. It feels like something in the latch is snagging. It's as if LG forgot to finish this one, last little thing, and it makes a strong, negative impression every time the machine is used. Please take the time to provide a redesigned latching system for the door that provides the tactile and auditory sensations of a quality product. The devil is in the details, and this one was missed.

Love my dryer!

I have had this dryer for about 5 weeks and so far it is great. The clothes dry well with very little wrinkling. The lint filter is simple to use, and the tune at the end is always a nice reminder. It's quiet and I haven't had any real issues with it at all.

Purchased this product Dec. 15, 2013, along with an LG washer. It is VERY quiet. We can now leave our laundry room door open while equipment is running. Following the spin cycle of the washer, items are almost dry before putting them in dryer. So no matter what cycle is set, the drying time is always less than the pre-programmed time for the cycle, which saves electricity.

I bought this machine for the dry sensor. I don't think it works very well, my clothes never seem to be completely dry. The manual setting starts at 20 min., which is too long. I would prefer a 10 min. setting. My clothes are more wrinkled with this machine than with my old cheap dryer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The melodic signal tones are so pleasant! And the dryer works very well. My old dryer was a beast so I am very pleased.
ONLY fault I've found is the area under the lint screen also accumulates lint. I've used the vacuum to pull it out since it is beyond my finger's reach and doesn't seem to go into the filter.
Otherwise, I am a satisfied customer!
