Waited a Lifetime

The dryer capacity accommodates large quilts/comforters and large loads with room to spare. Drying time is less than any of my other dryers over the past 43 years and this translates to excellent value. Dry times are accurate and good variety of drying options are available. Clothes come out with little or no wrinkles. Filter screen is easy to clean and access. Catchy tune plays when clothes are dry. Overall dryer size was no larger than old, basic dryer. Look forward to years and years of quality clothes drying.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, dimension/size

Does the Job

Very short drying cycles. Lot's of control over type of clothes and temp. Still learning the little details. Sometimes socks don't come out quite dry. I'm guessing user error as I like to dry everything on permanent press

Almost perfect

This dryer is great. Because my LG washer removes so much water, most loads dry quickly in this dryer. Controls are easy to understand and use. I love the signal music when loads are done. Only negative is this dryer does not always thoroughly dry heavy things like sheet towels, blankets or flannel jackets. Just pop them back in dryer for 10 minutes.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Love this Sensor Dryer

We purchased this dryer with our LG washer 10 months ago. We are very happy with this large capacity dryer's performance. The Dual LED control panel is easy to read and flows from left to right. The regular Sensor Dry feature and function options have prevented us from overdrying. Really like having so many drying options. It is most helpful that we are reminded of cleaning the lint trap at the beginning of each drying cycle too.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

i purchased this dryer as part of an LG set. We are SO pleased! The capacity is wonderful - it dries large comforters with ease and is great on permanent press items. I no longer dread laundry day - it's a breeze, they're nice to look at and quiet too. I highly recommend this dryer!

This dryer does NOT give you full control!
on August 1, 2013

At a superficial glance, this is a nice-looking machine. And it doesn't do a bad job of getting your clothes dry.
However, my biggest complaint is that it does NOT give you full control! You cannot set the dryer sensor level and temperature independently to whatever you want. You must choose from their pre-selected combinations. This is unforgivable. Dryers made 20 years ago let you set these parameters to whatever you want. But this brand new LG dryer which probably costs double what you spent on your last one is not capable of doing what your twenty year old dryer could do.
That's an absolute deal-breaker for me. I will not buy LG products in the future unless I can confirm that they give the customer full control.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dryer is really quiet

We've had this dryer for about a month, and so far it has exceeded all expectations. It dries beautifully, but does not overdry. Iron-free cotton shirts look like new. Delicates are great. All in all, I love it!
Pros: Performance, easy to use
