This printer is exactly what you are looking for!

I hardly ever write reviews even though I find them to be very useful when I am shopping for an item that has so many products offered. After being scared away by some other HP product reviews I found that the reviews for this product were mostly positive.
Believe me that I do not have any buyer's remorse. This product was very easy to setup...even printing instructions to continue setup for me past the initial instructions to plug it in. You can even setup the printer using it's own display (software install only to gain more features). This printer prints quickly and quietly. I have had no disconnections or wireless issues. Especially happy with the AirPrint feature working as advertised.
Overall a great printer!

Terrific Machine-Easy Setup and Use

Rec'd the printer; took it out of the box.. boy did it look complex! But no - it was very easy to setup; the instructions were simple to follow and spot on - no guesswork required. If I needed further explanation of a process, e.g., installing the printer cartridges, the videos were terrific. The wireless feature was the easiest part. The printing is fast, quiet and sharp- documents look great, and the photos came out very sharp. I have yet to use the other features, but believe they'll be just as good. A great machine. You can't go wrong!

frustrated with the scan feature.

I have had a HP photosmart 7250 that I really liked until it died. I replaced it with the 7520 model thinking it would work the same as the 7250 . Man am I frustrated with its "scanning" feature. I use it to scan pictures to digitize them. With the 7250 I could scan 4 pictures at a time and it would separate them into 4 pictures, When I tried to scan the 4 pictures at once with the 7520, I found to my disgust that it scanned them all as one picture. Putting one picture at a time on the screen was horribly slow, especially since I have lots of pictures to digitize. I suggest that you program your next all-in-one to do what the 7250 would do. It does print beautifully, however, it just makes a lousy scanner.

I just moved to a small condo and was without a fax, copier, printer. I had to go into town and ended up paying $5 to have a one page fax sent. Being we had just bought this condo, had not purchased another printer. I knew it was going to be an HP, as that is all I've used in past years.

This printer is my 3rd colorsmart but the most fully featured one. I'm totally pleased with it.
I want to make a comment about the XL black (not photo) ink cartridge. This printer uses the same ink cartridges as my last two and a reason why I selected it. But my first one used a cartridge that was at least twice as large. I w3ish it was still available.

Don't know what to think of this new all-in-one
on January 25, 2013

I have been a long time and loyal HP products owner. I recently replaced my four year old photo all-in-one for a new one. I had been very satisfied with the old one, but decided to get this new all-in-one. I don't know if I like the new one or not. Unlike my old all-in-one which came with a bound booklet manual, which I used frequently and extensively, the new printer did not come with a manual. This made me VERY unhappy. I couldn't even easily see where to put the paper. There were no diagrams other than a thin piece of paper relating to installing. I don't know how to do anything and it is not convenient to go on line to look for help over each little thing. I found where you can download a manual which is 100 pages of the customer's ink and paper. You then have an unwieldly mass of pages that are not as durable for repeated use as a manual and certainly not as easy to store near the printer as a smaller sized manual would be. This printer is supposed to print both sides of the pages and I tried to activate it, but it continues printing on only one side. Again, no handy manual to address the issue or trouble shoot. I don't seem to know how to do things with the new printer. I called customer service and was told there are no manuals included any more, nor can one be mailed. I know I am not the only one who will be VERY unhappy about that. I believe HP has lost me as a customer. I was also going to replace my HP computer, but now I will not. Not having a manual included, is that big of deal for me. Talking with friends, I find I am not alone in feeling this way. Two in our group have already canceled their orders for new HP computers and of course, I will not be placing an order. If HP wants to make things more difficult for the customer, the customer may look else where for consumer friendly and responsive products. This experience has certainly cooled my zeal for HP products. I only hope HP will consider providing manuals in the future, they are wonderful for quick reference and trouble shooting and the customer can get off to a good start right from the beginning. The manual can be easily stored next to the product for easy use. I am a former HP fan
