My last few AIO printers barely survived their waranty. Is it an unrealistic expectation to press "Print" and have it simply print?

Bad print, no OCR

I have spent hours with HP and this printer STILL does not do the functions promised. Customer support was NO help.
The web site says "The instructions provided in this section require that you have the full feature HP software installed." and "You must have OPTICAL CHARACTER RECOGNITION (OCR) software from HP or a third-party vendor installed on your computer to save a scanned text document as editable.", but no one can provide the software for the 7520 and Windows 8!!

This printer does a super job. Unbelievable Apps! Haven't tried the fax yet, but I am certain, as with all HP Products, it too will be an adventure and wonderful experience.
