I bought this printer for the eprint feature. Finally i can print from my ipad! The bonus features are two sided printing and a document feeder. I am not a techie, but set up was easy and not frustrating. So far, so good!

I am still waiting for the printer to work wireless from the computer. I can print wireless from my I-phone. I have been on the phone for TOO many hours without a resolution.

This is my fourth HP inkjet style printer and by far it was the easiest to set-up and use. I was truly amazed at how quick, easy and effective the printer was to set-up. After having to fight for what seemed to be hours setting up previous printers on a wireless network I was actually surprised when the 7520 basically installed and set-up itself on my network. I was physically printing out test pages before I realized the printer was fully installed on my network. Since getting it set-up, printing, scanning, faxing and copying have been very easy and intuitive. I was originally concerned about not having a user's manual but quickly discovered one was not really needed.

Basic functions satisfactory

The basic functions of the unit are satisfactory but it lacks useful functionality of the scanning software. The software does not scan multiple pages into a single document as my six year old HP scanner did . The documentation to set up the wireless connection was not clear. I spent 4 hours attempting to set up the wireless connection. I trust it will be possible but will need technical assistance to get it done. I will call technical assistance when I can set aside another block of time.

One Complication

I originally ordered the PhotoSmart 6520, and it wouldn't let me print on custom size paper, which I need to do for my art business. So I talked to the support folks, and they convinced me that the 7520 would do the job. So I exchanged printers, for a slight cost (they were very nice!) However, when i got the printer and set it up, I still couldn't get it to print on custom size paper, although it would at least accept the custom paper (the 6520 didn't even let you load the paper). Everything else works great, and the photos, as always, are stunning, so I didn't want to send it back. After checking the support blog, I found a solution to the problem--however odd--and was able to get the printer to let me set a custom size. The solution was to add another printer, using the same IP address, and set that one up with a printer driver that does allow you to set a custom paper size. So I now have two drivers that point to the same printer...odd, but it works. But HP...sit up and take notice! Why did you remove this capability from the 7520 driver? You had it in the 309 driver years ago! Why did you remove functionality?!? Please put it back, and update the 7520 driver! And don't take it out for future printer drivers!

Very pleased with the HP Photosmart 7520

Though I have not had this printer long, it meets all my expectations thus far. Very happy with the photo quality and love the low profile of the machine. This is replacing a separate scanner and printer and love that this is an all-in-one rather than two units. The two-sided printing was a must as I had it on my older HP and found it a huge paper saver and would not consider a printer if it didn't have this feature.
