A stellar product!

We purchased this particular item after a lot of online research. We have had nothing but flawless performance from this unit. We finally have full confidence in the unit running whenever we turn it on (not so with past inferior disposal units). It is rock-solid performer that will not disappoint -- it does exactly what is described about the item, and it does so with such efficiency that it is mind-boggling. The best features are the ability to run for 60 seconds without even hiccupping, and its stainless steel inner parts. Way to go, Frigidaire!

Very Loud

I just had this disposal installed last week. We have an open concept home and opted to put in a more quiet disposal because the kitchen is so close to den/TV area. I was shocked!!!! Not only is this garbage disposal really loud it has a loud kick on when you turn the switch on. Very unhappy with this disposal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LOUD!!!!!

After reading several reviews about this disposal I decided to have it installed in my new house, much to my surprise it sounds like a jet engine is taking off in my kitchen. I would think for this much money and from a brand such as fridgidaire it would be better. So disappointed and looking for a better option.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
