Great Product!

Does a great job with all sizes of loads. Has cut down on water usage. Clothes come out almost dry. We find out something new about the machine almost each time we use it. Very happy with our purchase. Manual could be a little more informative.

great washer with lots of features

I absolutely LOVE this washer. My husband and I purchased it about six months ago and have never enjoyed doing laundry so much as we do now. We originally had our eyes on a different brand but after the sales person got to know more about our needs and desires in a washer, he recommended this one to us. We couldn't be more happy with the purchase. This washer has a huge capacity and can easily handle washing our very large blankets. It has lots of great cycle options, making this machine very versatile. It is super quiet when running and I have yet to have a load go out of balance. I love the jingle that plays when a load of laundry is finished. I seriously love everything about this washer and the price was absolutely fantastic for everything you get out of this machine. It was a breeze to learn all of the different cycles and settings. Would absolutely recommend this washer to any and everyone!!

Dissapointing and frustrating

I previously had a front loading washer. It was easy to use and washed well. This washer is anything but!
1) the load is constantly out of balance. I take care to distribute the dirty clothes evenly, but likely 40% of the time, it goes out of balance. I have open it, move around saturated clothes a few times, until it decides to keep running. very annoying!
2) It doesnt wash well either. I use the recommended amount of clothing detergent and do NOT overload this washer. Always, my wash clothes come out musty smelling. So disgusting!
3) The tub is TOO deep. I am 5" 3" and I have to tippy toe and bend over the side to reach small items on the bottom of the tub. I just barely reach the bottom. Anyone older or shorter will definitely have a big
problem!
This is my first LG. I had read good reviews, so that is why I bought it. BIG MISTAKE! I will never buy another LG.

We enjoy the quiet efficiency

In addition to great appearance and ease of use, we enjoy the quiet efficiency of the washer -- emphasis on quiet. This is the quietest washer we have ever owned. It is actually a pleasure to do wash and not have the washer doing a dance in the laundry room and being heard all over the house.

Problems with Spin cycle

Overall this is a very good washer. But the spin cycle is too high for my liking. I like a low spin cycle but whenever I select a low spin cycle it jumps to medium, especially with speed wash. The low setting for delicates is too high and I have to turn it off before it finishes. This is too harsh on my clothes.

water saver

This washer replaces our 23-year-old appliance. What a difference in all respects. I love the clean design, wash options and large capacity--although I need kitchen tongs to reach small items on the bottom! Our water bills are high, so I appreciate the low water feature. I look forward to many years of service.

I have had this washer a few months and it does a great job cleaning my clothes. I especially like the high speed spin because my clothes don't take long to dry.

What a great washer. The drum is cavernous, and there are setting for anything you could want to wash. The energy-savings rating is fantastic. It will do stuff with cold water that other machines can't. When you put your load in, it spends a few minutes twisting the drum back and forth to judge the size of the load. It uses just anough water to wash the clothes, and that can be a bit scary at first..you think stuff won't get clean in a few inches of water, but the impeller really works the clothes (gently) like an old-time washboard!
