Wowed by the technology

At almost 70 years old I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing a new washer without an agitator,
much less with an electronic control panel.
But I was won over immediately: I found it was easy to use. Amazed at how little water it uses but the clothes come out perfectly clean and dryer than with my old washer. I've only used the settings "Cotton/Normal", "Pure Color" and "Bulky Bedding". I did read the manual thoroughly and am paying attention to how I load clothes. After about 10 loads have not encountered an "error" message as yet, but I know what to do if that happens.
I like the countdown on the timer and the little tune
when the load is finished - don't have to keep checking on the load's status.
Would highly recommend. In fact my refrigerator is
16 years old and I chose an LG model #had to order it# that would fit in my 33 inches of width. Has the two French doors and bottom freezer. Looking forward to
having it delivered. A Satisfied customer - just want it to last.

Have had no issues so far.. Used it for about a month now..I DO wish it could use my old detergent..however.. not really an issue.. tub IS deep.. so if you're short buy a stool... all in all.. I LOVE It. Controls easy to understand.. you can pretty much figure it all out without having to read the book that comes with it...

Best New Technology Washer on the Market

I admit I was a bit nervous about buying a new top load washer with so many digital features, options, and even a direct drive motor. However this washer has been perfect and one of the simplest to operation. I push two button (power, then start) and it is preset for the most common wash cycle! So far I have never had a problem with the auto sensing for water level or spin cycle adjustment. It is the most QUIET washer I've ever owned. I am very very happy to have bought this over all of the other choices. When my older dryer breaks, I'll get the matching LG dryer as well.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality, direct drive motor

Great washing and so quiet!

This machine beats my leaky, smelly, front load washer hands down. There are so many washing options and it is so quiet. Clothes wash great and spin much dryer than past washers. It has held huge loads with ease. Love this machine!

EXCELLENT CHOICE!

I bought the washer/dryer set a few months ago and have not been disappointed! They are very user friendly, and of courses washes and dries perfectly. I love the sensing technology, which adjusts water levels, to avoid wastefulness. Of course the front loading washers are pretty; I have one at a rental unit, but top loaders are by far the best, and prevents mildew. The drier is quick, and fluffs very nicely. My favorite cycle is the Freshen Up. I use this all the time to warm a blanket for the kiddos or get a wrinkle out. The little song played at the end is so sweet and a nice way to be alerted to the end of the cycle, as opposed to the otherwise harsh annoying buzzers. LG is top of the line.

From the minute we got this home, I was in love! I would stand in front of it, and watch thru the window as the washer would do it's magic! I have never had an appliance that I have loved so much! Our clothes come out so very clean, rinsed and spun better than an ordinary washing machine, and the LG dryer we purchased as well ~ could not be happier! It's quiet and unobtrusive, and I like that when the cycle ends, it plays a little song to let you know it's done!
