Just tried out my new LG washer! So far I think it's great! A lot more quiet than my old washer.

Huge Design Flaw

The DRAIN HOSE EASILY SLIDES OFF the washer!!
First use, drain hose popped off of washer and ALL the water was pumped into my basement, fortunately no damage.
Carefully put hose back on with clamp provided- SAME PROBLEM!!
Hose connector on washer is smooth- NO ridges to help keep it attached- Very slippery plastic connector.
Had to find a real hose clamp and tighten as hard as possible to prevent drain hose slipping off again.

Super wash and Super Quiet

This washer and matching gas dryer were our first LG purchases. We were very impressed with the features when we saw them in the store, especially the soak feature. This washer works like magic and is so quiet. My father is 84 and lives with us now. He likes to do his own laundry and he can run the washer and dryer without any problems - he loves the soak feature. My husband and I love how quiet the machine is when running. The laundry comes out beautifully clean and the tub is so big - I almost need a step stool to reach the bottom! If we need to buy anything else, we will definitely look at LG products. I give my highest recommendation for this washer and dryer and guarantee that you won't regret buying one.

Great Washer for a Great Value

Replaced a washer that was 20 years old, so this one took some getting used to with all the options. I had a little trouble a couple times on balancing the loads right, but it does a great job. Being a HE it does take a bit longer to wash a load of clothes, but I am used to that now as well. I bought both the washer and the dryer and am happy with the purchases.

Warranty replacement.

This was a warranty replacement that my wife liked over the original brand. I was hesitant about it's reviews. So far I have to agree with many of them as I love the function selectivity and especially the auto balance feature. I don't care how long the cycle takes as long as the clothes are clean and ready for the dryer or clothesline.
