Excellent washer!

I have only had this washer for 1 day, I will review it again in a few months, and then again in 1 year, but I like to get my initial opinion out there.
This washer is just awesome! I am the mother of 2 toddlers, who like very much to make large messes. Large messes mean lots of laundry for me. I was doing anywhere between 3 and 6 loads of laundry each day.
I was able to get twice the normal amount of laundry into the washer without overloading it last night!
There is no agitator, so that means I won't have to fight to get strings on clothes out from under the agitator ribs, and my blankets will no longer be ripped when I pull them out.
I am 5'2, and some people said they had a problem reaching the bottom of the washer, I have no problem getting socks out, and my arms are relatively short as well. I did have to get on my tip toes to get them, but I wasn't uncomfortable, nor was I in any danger of falling in ( I think I may actually fit in there though!)
I was able to get 10 oversized bath sheets into the washer along with a king sized flat sheet. My old 3.6 cf washer would hold 6 towels max, and that was on a super load.
Someone also mentioned that the clothes on top aren't fully submerged. I watched the washer last night as it ran through its first cycle, and I was worried at first when I saw the clothes really weren't fully submerged. BUT!: they clothes do get moved around, the washer started this weird sucking pumping action and the clothes moved toward the middle and downward, like food in a food processor. By the end of the cycle, everything had been under water and swished around quite a bit.
The machine is incredibly quiet, and the spin cycle gets out most of the water. The clothes were barely damp when I pulled them out. The washer does also give you an estimated time frame of when it will be done, and I like that feature as well. Again, this is only my first day of having the washer, and I will review again after 3 or so months, and again in 1 year. If it continues to work as it did last night, I am extremely impressed.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

We had a Maytag front loader and it stunk and was loud!!! When it went out we researched washers and decided to buy the LG. You hardly know it is running and does a great job getting clothes clean. The most noise it makes are the chimes at the end of the wash cycle!!!
Pros: Performance

I did research and I like what I saw the only thing I don't like is that I need a step stool to get clothes out of washer, very deep. It did take time to see how to make the wash work for me At first I just let the washer choose.
Wasn't watching the choices the washer was choosing. So I started choosing and now washing is good

Versatile and Flexible

We bought this after seeing positive reviews in Consumer Reports, and needing a top-loader because of the design of our laundry room. It has performed well so far, althoough sometimes it's not clear what the washer is doing at any given moment. Washing cycles are longer than with our old machine, but cleaning ability seems to be pretty good. Clothes are very dry coming after the high-speed spin, and now the dryer waits on the washer, instead of the other way around.

I had a front loading washer that was very loud and was always having problems. When they wanted thousands to fix it , we searched and found this wonderful top loader. I love everything about it...quiet, big tub, lots of setting options, and best of all the cute chime at the end:)

HUGE capacity. No complaints so far aside from sometimes forgetting to close the detergent dispenser. Maybe LG should add a warning chime for that.
