I have only owned this product for a month but so far it has been a blessing to have. Please note I bought my washing machine April of 2013 not April 2011.
This is my first top load HE washer and my first washer from LG. I previously had another brand front load HE washer. and I did not like it. I'm glad to be back to a top load but I have to say I was a little wary about not having an agitator. I'm pleasantly surprised that even a top load HE washer can use such a small amount of water and the clothes come out surprisingly clean. The machine is very quiet and although they suggest cleaning the machine once a month by running a cleaning cycle w/bleach I don't think this machine will be grimy and smelly like the old front load machine that I had. Also, the capacity is very large and even though I'm only doing laundry for two people I appreciate being able to do large loads when needed.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
this machine is fantastic! it is quiet, energy efficient, uses less water; the list of impressive things about this machine is almost endless. i could go on and on. stellar quality and performance. i highly recommend this machine.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
As long as our clothes get clean, I have no problems and the washer has performed well. Some cycles seem rather long and I wish there were a knit cycle as not all knits are delicate.
this is a fantastic washer i have no complaints at all. i can wash a lot of clothes at one time because the drum is very deep. i have no problem with balancing the load it does that for you. i love the child proof lock. i also have the matching dryer.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
I've had the washer a couple months now, it has a lot of good features and for basic washing works great.
I have noticed that with heavy stains including blood stains, even with pretreating and using the heavy duty setting, the washer doesn't get the stains out as well as a standard agitator-type washer. For basic washes, the clothes come out smelling fresher and drier than the standard washer I had previously.
Also be forewarned that the cycle times are drastically increased over a standard washer, but this is partially negated by the huge capacity of the washer. I can typically do the equivalent of two loads from my old washer with one in the WT1101CW.
The washer has a bunch of different useful features. One strange omission is the lack of the "Water Plus" feature that is available on the lower WT1001CW. This adds more water to the load to make sure that the top clothes are submerged better than the standard setting. I haven't had any problems as long as you use the Extra Rinse feature on the cycle, but this also adds even more time to the already-long cycle.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings
Along with great features you have the ability to adjust each setting to your personal preferences. This machine also seems to use less water than most.
