Great machine for small space.

I bought this machine when I downsized my lifestyle. My former home allowed me to have a 5.3 cu. ft. washer in my laundry room but my space was limited in my current home. After much research, I found your 4.1 cu. ft. top load that had almost all the features of my other machine. It does a great job of cleaning in cold water, the number of cycles is surprising for a narrower machine, as is the level of dirt in the clothes and the spin speed. This is my first LG washer and it will not be my last. I am thrilled with the choice I made.

Love it, but.. it is tall

I am 5'4" and actually could use a stool to empty the washer to the dryer. I have to tippy toe to pull the clothes out of the bottom of the washer. It is TALL with the controls in the front of the machine. But I happily reach cause this machine is way better than our old Cabrio. Grr Whirlpool!

Large capacity easy to use

We purchased this washer to replace our 20 year old one. Obviously technology has changed and the new washer looked a little bit more complicated to use. This is not the case though, the controls are super easy to use and the large capacity is great for comforters. No more going to the laundromat! There are some reviews regarding a balancing issue, have not had one problem in the 8-weeks we have used it. Great washer and an affordable price.

Nice machine

Waited a couple of months to do the review, just in case the "new" might wear off. Works great and is extremely quiet when compared to a standard Kemore. I like the leveling feature and especially the folding lid since it need to fit under cabinets. Clothes end up nice and clean and can't find anything to compain about.
Pros: Style/Design

We love our new LG Washer and Dryer!!! It is so easy to use and is perfect for family. Our laundry closet is right off the main living area do quiet is very important. We can't believe how quiet these units are! I sometimes have to get up just to see if it is on because I can't tell it is running. I love being able to see exactly how much cycle time is left. It makes planning future loads much easier.
Pros: Performance, easy to use

Do not buy this washer!!
on November 27, 2015

I bought this washer approximately 3 years ago and have a family of 4. I do a lot of laundry!
There are several things I DO NOT like about this washer. First, it will not process smaller loads, even if you do have like items in the load. It will constantly default to unbalance. I will not leave the house while I have the washer running. The unbalanced mode will fill the tub up with water In attempt to balance the load.
Second, the washer will say it's unbalanced if you do not group similar items together like all jeans or all shirts. Again it will continually fill the tub with water to "balance" the load.
Lastly, the machine has a tub clean cycle. I have tried to execute this cycle numerous times without any success. When it's in the rinse and spin cycle of the tub clean cycle it will become "unbalanced" over and over. To the point that I stand by the machine and manually override it. I am doing this as I write this review! Thus far I have been unable to complete a tub cleaning!
I do like that this washer will process very large loads but that is about the only positive I can think of.

Too big, too slow, deceptive settings, noisy
on January 14, 2016

I bought this to replace a small front loading high efficiency washer that broke down. This one is way too deep for my 5'3" height--I can't reach the bottom without lifting my feet off the floor. There is no rinse--spray rinse is not a RINSE--and you have to add nearly half an hour to get one. The only fast cycle with the real--aka "extra" rinse--takes an hour. From my kitchen, It sounds like jet airplanes taking off when running, even from its basement location with the door shut.

Buyer beware
on January 17, 2016

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No matter how large or small the load is you will get an "UE" error. The machine will refill during the spin cycle in an attempt to rebalance the load. This happens on a spin only cycle. I regret purchasing this machine! Buyer beware!!! Do not purchase.
