Love!!!

We love our new LG Washer and Dryer!!! It is so easy to use and is perfect for family. Our laundry closet is right off the main living area do quiet is very important. We can't believe how quiet these units are! I sometimes have to get up just to see if it is on because I can't tell it is running. I love being able to see exactly how much cycle time is left. It makes planning future loads much easier.
Pros: Performance, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Do not buy this washer!!

I bought this washer approximately 3 years ago and have a family of 4. I do a lot of laundry! There are several things I DO NOT like about this washer. First, it will not process smaller loads, even if you do have like items in the load. It will constantly default to unbalance. I will not leave the house while I have the washer running. The unbalanced mode will fill the tub up with water In attempt to balance the load. Second, the washer will say it's unbalanced if you do not group similar items together like all jeans or all shirts. Again it will continually fill the tub with water to "balance" the load. Lastly, the machine has a tub clean cycle. I have tried to execute this cycle numerous times without any success. When it's in the rinse and spin cycle of the tub clean cycle it will become "unbalanced" over and over. To the point that I stand by the machine and manually override it. I am doing this as I write this review! Thus far I have been unable to complete a tub cleaning! I do like that this washer will process very large loads but that is about the only positive I can think of.

Too big, too slow, deceptive settings, noisy

I bought this to replace a small front loading high efficiency washer that broke down. This one is way too deep for my 5'3" height--I can't reach the bottom without lifting my feet off the floor. There is no rinse--spray rinse is not a RINSE--and you have to add nearly half an hour to get one. The only fast cycle with the real--aka "extra" rinse--takes an hour. From my kitchen, It sounds like jet airplanes taking off when running, even from its basement location with the door shut.

Buyer beware

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No matter how large or small the load is you will get an "UE" error. The machine will refill during the spin cycle in an attempt to rebalance the load. This happens on a spin only cycle. I regret purchasing this machine! Buyer beware!!! Do not purchase.

Prepare to have extremely high water bills

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normal loads, small loads, big loads, every load every kind of load at random will get UE errors. to fix it, no matter how much clothes are in there, it will fill all the way to the top with water, agitate to try and fix it then drain. If that doesn't work it beeps and you adjust it manually. BUT that wont work, the UE will come again and you will end up wringing out your clothes by hand to save some water. This is the worst washer I have ever owned in my life.

A web search turned up HUNDREDS of similar unhappy reports. Terrible washer and now stinks because standing water from multiple attempts to do wash. I can't stress enough DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER

No Agitator Is A Poor Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this washer and dryer set a year ago. I tried for many months to get satisfactory results but finally reached my limit after about eight months. Getting clean clothes out of a washer without an agitator was impossible. I wished I could have my 20-year-old washer with a tiny leak back! My retailer finally agreed to help me become a happy customer and replaced them with a brand new LG front loader and dryer. This set works great, and I am finally getting clean clothes again.

Don't waste your money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] hate this washer! I have to wash everything on the bulky/bedding setting so that it fills up with enough water to get my clothes wet. You can't wash a small load without it getting uneven. I do not recommend this washer to anyone.
