uses less water than the old machine

The washer quit working after less than a month. It took over 2 weeks to get the replacement part. When it is working it is good, but I am not impressed that the computer quit after less than a month. It takes an average of 1 1/2 hours to wash a normal load of laundry with an extra rinse. If it gets out of balance, it takes about 30 minutes more. The wash cycle is only about 20 minutes, the rest is rinsing and spinning. The laundry is only slightly damp when done.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the worst washing machine that I have ever owned. You have to be precise with the garments that you put in the washer. Must ALL be the same weight, so no throwing in any extra little thing. It will continually be off balance and take hours to finish with one load. I have to go out to the garage and check it to see if it has stopped yet again. The features of the machine are good but performance is yet another. I wish I could afford to get another washing machine right now. I don't have the time to over see how my load is going every 10 minutes. Because of this taking a long time to wash due to unbalance I am using more electricity as well.

Love how my LG looks. Plenty of features. Love the ColdWash technology. Stainless interior looks well made. Quiet and efficient. Nothing bad to say about it but wish I were taller or the bottom of the washer taller. Hard to reach items in bottom of drum. I might need to get a small stool. Overall, very pleased with the washer! Thanks LG!

I purchased this as a set about 2 weeks ago. This washer is huge !! We have two children and numerous foster children so we do a lot of laundry on a typical basis. It certainly seems to save water by looking at the machine fill levels. The clothes are clean and are almost dry to the touch after the normal spin cycle. The only cons I have so far are the alarm is not very loud, so if your laundry is on a different floor or end of your home, you may not hear it. The other being, at 5'5 the tub is still difficult to reach the bottom of for one lonely sock ! With the display located at the front, I am afraid I will at some point rub the buttons with my boobs ! IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND EFFECTIVE.

I love this washing machine. I had the front load washer before and decided to try the top load washer and I am so glad that I switch to the top load. It is easy to use and washes the clothes perfectly. It is a wonderful machine and I recommend it to everyone.

Our salesman said I would love this washer and I do. Best I have ever owned. When people ask about our new home I end up talking about the appliances - and my favorite appliances are our LG washer and dryer!
