The WT1101CW was purchased to replace a 10 year old model that damaged by a power surge. I was impressed by how quiet and how much a 4.3 cu.ft. capacity could hold. The improvements on this model compared to our previous washer are great. It also was impressive to us when one load shifted during the wash cycle and the auto recovery continued to without stopping. Very impressive. I recommend this product to anyone.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
This is a great washing machine! This machine has plenty of choices to clean your clothes. This machine spins so well that your clothes dry very fast and of course this will save you money. Large enough and uses a small amount of water. Don't hesitate to buy this machine.

I've had this machine for about 2 months now and it has some great features. It's my first high efficiency washer, so its taken a bit of adjusting to the less water, less detergent way of thinking. Clothes seem to be clean and the spin definitely gets the water out. My only negative is the time of the wash cycle. After years of older washing sets where it took my dryer forever to get done, I find myself in the reverse position that my dryer is done super quick and it take the washer an hour and a half to finish the loads. Still, very happy with my decision on this set.
This top load washer operates so well and is so quiet and efficient. Our last washer was an LG front mount washer and this top mount works much better for our needs.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
The capacity of this washer is unbelievable. I wash less loads because it takes much more to make a load in this washer. Clothes come out clean and smelling great in spite of the increased size of loads. Perfect washer for a family. The machine is very quiet and washes a load quick. Great washing machine.

Regarding the front panel buttons and options: It is unnessarily complicated. There is a power button and a seperate start/pause button. I frequently hit the power button when I mean to hit the pause button. In which case, I have to re-power it, and go through all the options to re-select the type of load I have and the settings. There is no one button to select the type of load. Instead, you have to hit "select" over and over until your load type is high-lighted. There is no way to save your settings either. I like to use liquid fabric softener in most every load. However, for each load I wash, I have to tell it that I am using the softener in a seperate selection process. Also, I almost always have to tell it to spin the clothes on high rather than medium. Regarding the actual functionality of the washer: It does not seem to spin the clothes fully, even with the spin settings on high. My clothes come out very heavy still with water and I end up having to dry them longer. So the High Efficiency on the front end does not make up for the super long dry times on the back end. In addition, the tray in which the detergent and fabric softener goes feels flimsy and I fear that it will break early in the washer's life. On a positive note, if the washer gets unbalanced, it seems to be able to balance itself out in my absence.
