Great cleaning with energy savings

My wife and I were a little hesitant about spending this much money on a new washer, but we are glad we did. We did not want a front loader, and the reviews of other eco top loaders were all over the scale. This washer was rated #1, the price beat the others, it begged us to buy it. We have not been disappointed. Our clothes are clean with less water and less detergent. The washer runs so much quieter than our old standard washer. Yes, it takes longer to wash, but with the delay start, one can set it to wash later in the day, and have the clothes done by the time we return from work. With the fast spin cycle, the clothes need much less drying time - another savings. I usually don't write reviews, but this washer deserves all five stars.

Impressive and Great-Performing Machine

This is the first new washer I've bought in many, many years; the technology has changed tremendously for the better. This machine is fantastic in every regard.
It is so quiet; it talks to you; it has so many different wash, rinse, spin combinations for every type of garment you throw in it - and everything comes out perfect! It is the type of machine that makes you want to use it every day, it is such a joy to use. I made the right decision is selecting LG for my new washer and dryer.

We are very pleased with the quality of this wash machine. Nice to be able to wash all our bedding and not go to the laundry mat. I love the looks and the digital controls. LG makes it simple. We love the center drive and how quiet it operates.

This is my 3rd washer in the past 30 years. My first was 23 yrs old when it died. I'm hoping this LG lasts for a long time!! Great features,clean wash loads.
And it is so quiet, I go downstairs to check on it.

After a great deal of brand and product research, we purchased this washer and the "matching" dryer. We were careful to follow the simple instructions: properly level the machine at installation, and, load large items first. Overall, washer performance is excellent: cleaning is thorough, whether load is large or small; capacity is great; the machine has a nice range of features, which are easy to use and add to efficiency; noise-level is as low as I had hoped and expected; the overall dimensions of the washer (and dryer) are several inches trimmer than most other new machines (on steroids) and both units fit into our relatively small, upstairs, dedicated laundry closet (given these days of laundry "rooms"), which was important for us, and we didn't have to trade useful interior capacity. The machines are attractively designed, too. I am a laundry perfectionist and recommend both the washer and dryer units.

This washer is wonderful. It uses less detergent; less energy; runs much quieter than our previous one. We researched Consumer Reports--found out it was rated the best of top loading machines. We highly recommend it!!

Wow, after reading all the reviews at different sources, I believed this would be the best washing machine ever. Wrong! It gets out of balance so often that I can't leave the immediate area so I can stop it from refilling to try to balance. Clothes are not getting as clean as my old front loader (I'm using same detergent). More lint in the dryer means that clothes are wearing out more. And I'm normal height and still have problems reaching small things from the bottom.
This big investment will be in our future for a long time unfortunately.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
