Amazing washing machine

When I first got this machine, I didn't know quite what to think of it. Why isn't the machine filling with water? How can it clean my laundry if water barely covers it? But it's not supposed to fill with water, and it does an amazing job at cleaning my laundry. It took me a few cycles to prove to myself the machine was really getting my clothes clean, but now I'm used to it and I love it.
My only complaint is it makes a lot of noise when it spins. Otherwise, it's pretty quiet. All in all, an amazing, state-of-the-art machine that has made my life easier - and is saving me money on my water bill!

Love this washer!

I've not had any "balance" problems with the washer and my clothes come out clean and fresh. I agree that if you are not tall, you might have issues with getting the socks from the bottom of the washer. I'm 5'7" and have to stand on my tip-toes to reach small items.
The only feature I miss is a regular "soak" cycle. I'm used to soaking clothes for several hours or over night, but when I use the soak cycle, the water does not stay in the machine, even if you power it off. I'm sure I'll get used to that.
Overall, I'm very pleased with my new washer.

So far I have had this washer 2 days and I am very happy with how clean my clothes are coming. I can see a huge difference in the cleanliness of my clothes. I love this washer! It does not put holes in the clothes and even stains that have been n my towels are coming out. I hope this product keeps up the good work I have seen so far!!!!

Worst Washer I've Had
on April 13, 2015

This is, by far, the absolutely worst washer I've ever had to experience. YOU don't control the washing of YOUR clothes.. the machine does!! No-one told me when I was purchasing this machine that it weighs and measures the size of the load and adds the amount of water determined. In that case, if your clothes measure, say 4-5 inches high, it adds 4-5 inches of water.... WHAT???? So, I figured that there would be an override switch... Nope! So, I have to wash all of my loads on "heavy duty" because this fills the machine allll the way up; a complete waste of water. Then, when I wanted to soak my clothes for a determined amount of time so that I could run to the store, I turned the machine off. A few minutes later, IT EMPTIED THE WATER!!! So, I had to start all over. This machine was built by Stephen King because it does everything by itself and you have nothing to say about it. I did find out that there is a model that has a switch so that you can add more water if you wanted, but no-one told me about this feature on a different model. The one good thing about it is that it's pretty... and that's it!!! Don't buy this machine!!!
Pros: Style/Design

I love this washer!

I was hesitant to buy this washer because of some problematic reviews. I didn't listen and bought it anyway. I love this washer! It washes clothes clean. It uses less water. You have to change how you view washing clothes as this is a different technology. It hasn't once given me an off balance signal like a number of people complained about. I wash smaller loads. Maybe that has something to do with my success, but I have washed larger loads also with no problems. I've had the machine for several months now. It's just my husband and I so we don't have a lot of clothes to wash. We bought the dryer also, and I love the dryer also!

Disappointed

I should have done more research prior to purchasing this washer. The list of what you cannot wash in this washer is almost as long as the list of what you can. You cannot wash rugs, raincoats, etc. It takes over an hour for each load (much of this time is with no action being taken in the wash process since the clothes are just sitting in the bottom of the drum), so what money you may save in water is used in electricity. You are also supposed to only put items of similar weight in each load. So I used to do about 6 loads in about 2 hrs. I now have to do about 8 loads in over 8 hours and visit the laundromat with items I am not supposed to put in this washer. The user manual does not address all features or explain the different water temp settings (like what is the difference between cold and tap cold?). You have to babysit the washer because it goes out of balance. There is a melody that plays when the load is finished, but you cannot hear it if you are in another room or on another floor. There is no reason to purchase this washer that I have found.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
