I've had my washer for several months and I love it. When I bought it, I was concerned about the clear top on it (we are a household of guys), but it has been great. This machine came recommended to me by a friend ... and she was so right. I'm now a fan of LG!!!

Had an older front load washer that I replace with this, capacity so much bigger, price is a lot more reasonable. Features slightly less but more than adequate. And most importantly it is a lot more stable and quite, the old washer used to shake the house, now cant even tell from the room next door whether the washer is running. Good product so far!

LOVE MY NEW WASHER!

We had front loading for a few months and hated it! Thought front loaders were supposed to be the best but the mold smell and tearing of my clothes stomped that idea. I'm in love with my new top loading large capacity washer.

Beware - if you are only buying this machine in order to wash an occasional king comforter, then you should buy a smaller machine. I have gotten the "uE" error message (out of balance load) several times in addition to the "UE" message. When I get the UE message, about the only thing that seems to work is to turn the machine off and put it on spin to finish the load off. I have found that even though I have all these different cycles, the only one that I am able to use is Speed Wash. Apparently, unless you are running a very large load, only the Speed Wash works. I am very disappointed in this machine. As bad as it is, the accompanying dryer, DLE1101W is far worse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
