THIS WASHER IS A PIECE OF junk.. IF I HAD TO CHOOSE BETWEEN THIS PIECE OF junk LG AND AN OLD FASHIONED WRINGER TYPE WASHER, I WOULD CHOOSE THE OLD FASHIONED TYPE WRINGER WASHER.... I HATE, HATE , HATE THIS PIECE OF junk.... I WANT TO BE ABLE TO CHOOSE THE WATER TEMP AND THE WATER LEVEL WHEN I DO MY LAUNDRY... AND I DONT WANT TO HAVE TO BUY EXPENSIVE LAUNDRY DETERGENT JUST TO WASH CLOTHES.... I TOLD MY HUSBAND NOT TO BUY AN LG WASHER,, WE OWN AN LG FRIG AND HAVE REPLACED A PART IN IT 3 TIMES AND IT ISNT EVEN 5 YEARS OLD YET... AND WE HAD LG CELL PHONES AND THEY WERE ALSO junk........ I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PIECE OF junk TO ANYONE AND IF I HAD MY WAY, I WOULD THROW THIS WASHER OUT THE BACK DOOR AND WASH CLOTHES ON MY HANDS...... IM GONNA HAVE TO WASH CLOTHES ON MY HANDS IN MY BATH TUB ANYWAY JUST TO GET MY CLOTHES A LITTLE CLEAN... I HATE THIS PIECE OF LG junk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. I love the way my clothes seems so much cleaner. 2. I love the lid that opens part way so the machine airs out between uses. 3. The only thing I haven't gotten used to is how much longer it takes to do a load. Most of it is due to the fact I always choose an additional rinse. 4. Otherwise I wouldn't trade it for anything.
When I started shopping for a new washer and dryer I knew two things, I did not want a front load and I did not want an LG. Thankfully, I listened with an open mind to my salesman because I LOVE this washer. Some days I feel like I could just hug it!! All the things that people say are wrong with the new top loads like it doesn't use enough water, no agitator cannot get your clothes clean, all that is not true with this washer. My clothes and especially my towels come out clean and fresh. But the best part is the size, it is HUGE. I am gonna have to buy more clothes so I'll have enough to wear between loads of laundry. This is by far the best washer I have ever owned.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, five stars
I have owned this washer for 2 months and have sincerely enjoyed it. I appreciate the large capacity, the quiet performance, and even the little song at the end of the cycle. My kids have fun operating it, and it washes the clothes well. Thanks LG.
Not the most features but the best at what it does

This unit is amazing. It might not have the latest and greatest features but it is the easiest to use washer I have owned. It has a large capacity that easily handles any load I need cleaned, including pet beds and duvets. Things come out clean the first time and the cycles are well thought out with a custom feature that fills any gaps you may find. I cannot recommend this unit enough. And the person who moved the control panel to the front is a genius!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, capacity
This washer gets the clothes clean, has a huge wash capacity, and the control panel is easy to use, though there are lots of options.
It couldn't be quieter, and I love being able to see the clothes through the glass lid as they are being washed. It's a really good looking washer, too.
I was skeptical about how the lid would close since you don't feel the latch (since it locks later once the cycle is started), but now I love that it opens and closes so quietly and smoothly.
the washer does a great job without beating up our clothes like the old washer did. We did find out after we purchased it that we cannot wash outer garments. No real reason why but a little frustrating.
