Love my washer

This has been the best washer I have owned. Deep basket can hold all my clothes so less loads and my king size comforter.

What can I say? It's awesome, I know can't WAIT to do laundry!!!! It runs so quiet, it's a good thing it sings to you when it's done or you wouldn't even know! I have no complaints and don't know what else to say other than it's perfect in every aspect, easy to use, features, style, performance, and overall awesomeness!!!! I love the music it plays, just an added perk!

loads taking 2+ hours. keeps adding water

Seemed like a good idea; lousy results. After having new feet & new struts installed, it STILL cannot handle a larger load of towels. Not filling up tub all the way, either. Machine automatically keeps adding water & running again...and again...and again. And then Sears tech support (where I bought it) has nerve to tell me that I'm NOT supposed to run a full load of towels, because it puts too much stress on the unit. What's the point of a large capacity machine if I can't run a large load of towels? Seems like I bought a poorly made unit dressed up in a fancy package.
Pros: lousy balancing, need_new_washer, help me lg
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are delighted with this washer. Easy to use. No guessing on the load size; it does it for you. You can add extra rinses if you want. We used to with our old machine, but don't need to with this new LG. Clothes are cleaner. They are not as damp when they go to the dryer, which cuts down drying time. Controls are easy to read & use. Capacity is perfect for us. We have had no balancing problems, and we've put big bulky king size mattress pads and blankets , pillows in there. It takes care of itself. Highly recommend!

LG Washer - Superb

So happy with my decision to buy this washer. I was apprehensive at first because I was coming from an LG front loader which I was not happy with. I actually like doing laundry now! Excellent product and I have also referred a friend to this product which she has already ordered!

The inverter direct-drive motor

The direct-drive motor minimizes noise and vibration. The stainless steel drum makes this washer extremely durable.
