We LOVE our new washer! Washes tons of clothes at one time. Saves a ton of water. And it doesn't do all the banging around of our old washer with an agitator. Great price too!!!

This product offers a multitude of washing options. It operates quietly, is of the highest quality and does everything I expect from a washer. LG has hit one out of the park with this product.

The Best Washer I Ever Owned

When my front load washers struts broke for the second time in 12 years I was ready for a new washer. I didn't want another front load washer since they tend to have problems with the struts. I also didn't want to have to bend down to do my wash. I looked at many top load washers. I also looked at various reviews . The washer I chose was listed as one of the best. I love the amount of clothes I can do in one shot. The features are great. This washer has so many choices for each type of clothing . I love the glass top too!

I Like the great features of this washer.

We previously owned a Bosch front-load washer and like the performance of the LG washer much better. It is quiet efficient and outperforms the Bosch which the drive motor failed in twice. Plus on the LG washer the drive motor has a 10 year warranty and the drum is lifetime. I have no complaints about this washer and would recommend it to anyone.

I really like this washer. It's a little too deep, I have to really stretch to reach the bottom, but it's worth it.
I'm glad I picked this one. I was going to go with the one that goes with my dryer I bought a couple of years ago. I decided to try LG. Glad I did.

Good machine, but one flaw

I do love this washer. The capacity is great. My clothes don't seem to smell as fresh though compared to my old agitator washer. The cycles are longer than my old washer. The biggest issue I have with it is that I cannot wash my waterproof mattress pad, rugs, and many other waterproof and plastic items that I am used to being able to wash. I have a business of restoring dolls and I can no longer wash them. This is a HUGE problem for me. The washer is great, but it is SO limiting. Everything is so inconvenient for me now. I have to go somewhere else to wash all of these types of items. I feel like I have lost so much time and money when I just spent so much on a brand new washer that I can't even use all the time. It is VERY disappointing.

This washer is amazing.

I am very pleased with this washer. I originally wanted a front loading machine but I did not have the room for one. At first I was skeptical of this washer because although I liked the look, it does not have an agitator in the middle. It looks strange to have the washer barrel as a big open tub. I have been using it for over 2 months and it works wonderfully. There are times when clothes or sheets make it unbalance but the best feature is that the washer just stops instead of bouncing around. I especially like that it has a tub clean feature. I have a close laundry room and always have concerns with mold so this helps to keep it at bay. It is also quiet which is a blessing since it is near our family room where family watches TV. The rinse and spin are terrific; the clothes are not at all soaking wet but fairly damp which shortens drying time. If you are short in height; one thing to be aware of is that it is a deep tub, sometimes it is difficult to get the clothes out of the washing machine. Many times I need to use a "grabber" to get some pieces out of my reach. FYI - I also purchased the matching dryer. All in all - a great set - I love both the washer and dryer.

Overwhelming at first

When I said good bye to my 15 yr. old top load agitator washer, it was like losing a friend. This enormous new washer was a challenge to learn how to operate. After 2 months I believe I have, by hit and miss, learned to "work the system" to my liking. What used to be a large load in my old washer is now not even a half load. I was in a tizzy with the small amount of water that it used. Then I remembered the quick reference guide that the installer gave me to read and found the section "water plus". By holding the extra rinse button for 3 seconds extra water is added to the wash and rinse cycles! I also love the pause button for adding that extra bit of laundry. The first blanket that I washed came out clean and fluffy. We also have the matching dryer and like the way I can add extra time to each cycle. Overall I love my new laundry appliances.
