Bought this early this year and was impressed with how quiet the unit is! One issue I faced was the clothes would not get fully wet and had some soap residue on it. Had to call the LG reps who had advised me about the settings. Works great now!
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings
The control on the front of the washer are simple to use with several options. The washer is super quiet & the clothes are just damp at the end of the wash cycle (excellent spin cycle). Would recommend this washer to anyone.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
I love this washer. It is huge, tells how much longer the wash cycle will be, has many wash options, and even plays a pretty tune to notify you when it is done.

This is my second washing machine and I was first attracted to its clever styling and design. After using it several times a week for the last few months, I am still very happy with its performance and build-quality. My only complaint and the reason I gave it four stars overall instead of five is because it tends to be a bit too smart for its own good. Meaning when washing bulky items such as blankets it has a tendency to give an off-balanced warning and then quit prematurely, forcing us to wash those items by hand. This is a self-preservation feature to prevent damage to the machine, but it is still frustrating. I would still easily recommend it to friends and family.
I did a ton of research before buying this product and really wondered if it would live up to my standard. With a large family we put a lot of wear and tear into our appliances. I am, and will stay, a loyal owner of this machine. Everything is exemplary. The only minute issue I have ever had, is on the cotton normal cycle, it does use a little too close to not enough water. I know the purpose is to not use too much, and the clothes still turn out clean, but a little more would be nice. Just use the bulky cycle if you absolutely feel like its not enough.
Has great features but on the cotton normal cycle there is not enough water. It doesn't even cover the clothes. The bulky cycle works ok ; the water covers the clothes. Other cycles have similar problems not enough water. I know the company is trying to save water, but this is ridiculous. Also, the washer has something called Eco warm. It is not spelled out in the manual so I am clueless what it is. I wish you would give us a way to increase water level. Even the salesman said some people were unhappy with the water level. One other thing. The drum is so deep that we had to buy a grabber so we could reach clothes on the bottom.
This washer is very quiet, you can hardly tell it's running. I love the design, especially with the buttons at the front. I like that it has a clear lid, so you can look inside and see it doing its magic. The child lock feature is great, so that little ones can't reach up and press the buttons. I also like how it senses the load size, no more low, medium or high. It sends out just the right amount of water. My clothes come out smellig fresh, clean, and feeling great. Washers have come a long way.
