Sever Balancing Issues
on May 4, 2022

We bought this machine about 7 years ago, mainly because we are on a well and want to conserve water and save energy... So much for that. I've disliked this machine almost from the very beginning. I have to place and arrange each piece of clothing in the washer one by one, based on weight, in order to self balance the load before even turning the washer on. Then I have to watch thru the class lid as the machine starts, to make sure it is balanced. If I see it's not balanced, I have to open the machine and rearrange the placement of the cloths; many times I have to do this process over and over again. If the balancing isn't exactly right the washer will take forever spinning and stopping over an over again to "balance" the loan before the wash cycle will even begin. Oh and forbid the load gets off balance prior to the spin cycle. The washer will completely fill with water, empty the water & try to spin again; completing this process over and over again until the load is "balanced". I have literally (and I know the meaning of literally) had a load underway for over 3 hours, before I had to step in and rebalance the load by hand. We will not start a load and leave this washing machine unattended! We would have gotten rid of this washer years ago, but can't justify it if the machine isn't actually broken beyond repair. I've just learned to deal with it. I'll never buy this washing machine again or recommend this style of washing machine.

Over rinsing- doesnt spin dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My machine is from 2014. It constantly is putting itself back on rinse/spin cycle at the end for no reason at all. Soggy clothes are causing color bleeding ruining items-- and they are so wet I have to ring them out by hand before I can even put them in the dryer. Really sad that I have to buy new machines this early in the game
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this model in 2014 and it now stopped working from time to time. There is always "UE" error no matter how I adjusted the load. It can only work with small amout of clothes now. For a washing machine, I don't think it's reliable enough.
Pros: ease of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love LG products and this washer is the best. It's drum is big enough to wash king size blankets and it runs quiet. I am so happy I bought it, it makes my life easier.
My last LG was an impeller model that lasted only 9&1/2 years. This time I bought the agitator model. It has a smaller drum size, but seems to wash the clothes a bit better than the impeller model I had. I’m hoping this one lasts longer. I do miss the 5 cu ft drum size of the old model for washing comforters, but I-gave up that convenience for better clean with the agitator.

Worst washing machine I've ever had
on October 13, 2022

It just doesn't clean. On numerous occasions, I've taken clothes out of the dryer to find there is still detergent on them. This is because it just very lightly swishes the clothes. I don't think some of it ever even got wet! Absolute waste of money.
