Interseting design/quality workmanship

We were trying to decide between a front and top loader and given our narrow laundry room, we choose this top loader. We love the glass top because this is the only washer we have actually enjoyed watching it work, and we have even invited our friends to enjoy the show. The little tune it plays when finished is also a hoot.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Quality

I am enjoying washing clothes just hear the music at the end! Seriously, it is a good washer for the price. Has more features than the average household needs. My only complaint it doesn't allow you to add more water and I am not sure it would really clean really dirty clothes well enough. Aside from that it is a keeper!

Not only did I get an amazing energy efficient washer for a great price, but my clothes have never been cleaner! This machine is not only sleek, but pretty much dummy proof.

This is a great machine. As a family of 6 I like the high capacity. We joke that watching the wash through the window in the lid is better than TV. The washer has lots of settings to meet all your needs and does a good job cleaning the clothes. The only thing I would change is having 2 laundry soap dispensers as I like to use liquid soap along with oxyclean powder. I just put the powder in the bottom of the machine before loading the clothes. It works just fine. I also know that LG has great customer service as they repaired my frig damaged during hurricane SANDI. I love this company!

Love it. This by far the washer I have ever bought. Owned two bad front loaders. Large capacity. Quiet. Does not shake by house. Easy to use buttons. Clothes are clean and spun out well. Less drying time. My electric bill has gone down. Priced well for all the features this machine offers. Highly recommend. Also bought the dryer to match.

This is a super easy washer with sturdy soap/fabric softener dispenser. And I love the happy sounds it makes! What a nice way to do laundry.
I like the glass lid. Don't know why, but I do.
One thing....I am short and I have to have assistance (a tool or a stool) to get the smaller items at the bottom of the tub. How funny. But you cannot pry this one out of my hands.

Looks great, washes awful

I am very unhappy with my purchase of this washer. I have had it 4 weeks and am returning it. While there appear to be a lot of bells and whistles and the design is appealing, it does not do a goodjobof washing clothes. It determines the water usage and you cannot override it. There is never enough water in the tub to cover the clothes. There is no agitator and as you look through the cool see through top, the clothes are barely moving around and therefore are not coming out as clean as my old washer. The washer gets off balance easily and you have to stop it and shift the clothes. The wash cycle is alsoa lot longer than I am used to as the washer is stopping so often to weigh the clothes to determine the water level. I appreciate the efficiency but I want my clothes clean.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Having purchased over a thousand coin-op washers and dryers, this is the first electronic controlled washer purchased. Will it be reliable? Time will tell. Mechanical timers cannot offer the many cycles this machine has. Since transmissions cause expensive problems, this direct drive motor might be a good thing. This motor is larger than normal. The perforations in the tub are small, might retain larger debris. Long reach to bottom of tub. Washer taller than normal to have large capacity. Soap And softener dispenser, nice
