Washer worked great, until it didn't

I bought this washer in 2014, it was amazing at first. About a year ago I had to switch all loads to heavy duty to avoid the UE error. That error would ensure a full day just to do a couple loads. Then a couple weeks ago I got the E6 error. I spent the money on a new clutch, took it to a repair shop and still no luck. What's the point of an error message if you still have to guess what's wrong? A little help here LG? I still need a washer and can't figure out this code. Or why I could only use heavy duty to avoid UE errors.
We bought the washer and matching dryer in August of 2014. The Dryer is fine the washer is terrible. It started getting the UE message about 2 years ago occasionally but now it is with every wash load. I spend an entire day doing three loads of laundry. I'm talking seven to eight hours because you have to constantly monitor it and straighten it out. We made sure it was level, couldn't be more level and it still gives us the UE message. We do the laundry the same as we always did. Defective maybe?

Amazing how little parts and pieces shatter JUST AFTER 1 year warranty runs out. NEVER buying ANY LG again. (Washer lid hinges broke, rendering unit USELESS)
Pros: ease of use, Features/Settings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is a piece of junk. Do not buy. Can't run a load with error code UE, unbalanced load.

To troubleshoot the UE error code you are receiving we have created a help library article. You can find that article here: http://www.lg.com/us/support/product-help/CT00000305-1394563702295-ue ^CP
I’ve had this washer for years, got it new. About 75% of the time it goes “uneven”. Too many clothes, not enough, wrong mix of clothing weights combined together, it rarely matters. Uses more water as it TRIES to sort itself out, never helps. Just takes longer and uses more water.
Never getting a model with these “features” ever again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Terrible washer, already having to replace and only a few years old. Have had several repairs on it (starting within the first 2 months we had it) and now to have replace after 3 years. Worst washer I have ever owned and not covered under warranty. It is so bad, that I can't even run a entire cycle, it shakes, moves and is out of control. I have to stop it the last 10-15 minutes of any cycle I run, even the delicate cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have enjoyed my washer except for the constant out of balance issue. When this washer works it is a dream but I have faced the issue of it being out of balance whenever I try to wash a small load or if I have a mixed load of any kind and it will take many tries to try to get it balanced well enough to spin properly and finish the load. The usual solution is to remove some of the soppy load and spin each bunch individually.
I'm really glad I don't own one of these. I lease a home that has one and it's 2 hours to complete one load of laundry. That is my review.
