THIS WASHER IS BETTER THAN FANTASTIC

How many times can you say "AWESOME"?
That's how I feel everytime I use my new LG washer.
Being a full time caregiver to my elderly mom, I find myself doing more laundry than I thought possible. Mom's 93...how dirty can her clothes get?
The answer is ... plenty! Not so much dirt, but since mom is a complete invalid, her clothes quickly take on the odor of a non-mobile person. I do her laundry every two days.
What a workout for my machine....YET...it handles the extra washings. Awesome.
With my former washer, I made many trips through the years to the dry cleaners to have blankets, comforters, and other large items cleaned.
I don't have to do that anymore!! My beautiful LG is large enough to handle all that extra bulk! Awesome.
What surprised me when I picked it out was that the outside was the perfect width but the inside was larger than the other brands . . . . compact yet large... awesome!!
The fact that the washer automatically figures out the correct amount of water to be used is phenomenal... no more wasted water from overfilling the machine. Awesome!
One of my favorite features is the delay wash. How cool is that?? I can load my machine, set the timer and go to bed. When I awake in the morning, the clothes are done and ready for the dryer. What a time saver!! Awesome!!
I really did try, before I wrote this review to find something degrotory about my LG washer. As hard as I tried, I found nothing...so to me, this machine is the perfect answer to a busy woman's life.
It's just that AWESOME!!

Cleans great, comical to watch, but takes so long

I'm glad I eventually read all the instructions. It is not intuitive. The fact that I almost always use fabric softener means I'm always having to punch the Special Use button a couple times. And that adds to the already very long operating time. I wish it had a "custom program" button that would remember MY default settings. With the washer on a 4" high step-up in my garage, at 5'11", I still have to stand on my toes to reach the bottom of the tub. And I am still so glad I bought this machine.

i truely have enjoyed using this new top loading washer. it is extremely quiet, uses a lot less water than my many previous top loaders. it has a nice large drum and extremely quiet.
as i am very happy there is one thing i have a problem with, as i am 5'2 i have difficulty removing the small items from bottom of drum.
i also sometimes forget to push in soap drawer, my fault of course.

Consumer Reports rated this washer #1. They were right! This machine cut our laundry time in half, our water bill was under a 100 bucks for the first time ever. Our clothes are cleaner than with our 19th century washer. It Is Smarter than most humans, LG has incredible help in he manual, on their web site, email and chat. READ the manual before you place the machine! Our family will replace everything we have in the house with LG products in the future. Thank You LG!!

Went from a washer with an agitator and wasn't sure how this would work, but I wouldn't go back to an agitator. It is gentle on the clothes, has many different options to select from, very quiet, and if it becomes off balance with a load, it has the technology to fix it on its own; no more banging from side to side. Absolutely love it! Would highly recommend it!

I think this washer has excellent options and wonderful energy efficency. Super quite the only time I can hear it running from our downstairs is when it's in the high speed spin. The only thing is how long a load takes to run, it generally runs about 1 hour per load.

This machine has made wash day a pleasure. The fast spin cycle has cut down dryer time by half, and the fact that it has no center agitator,it handles the laundry more gently.
