This machine requires constant supervision. To elaborate, it becomes unbalanced constantly. Even if the load is perfectly distributed (in terms of weight) it will not. Stay. Balanced. When it decides that it is not balanced, it dumps water into your clothing. The most inconvenient part is that it does this every single spin cycle, without fail. And it cannot be fixed no matter how much I intervene. Therefore, my clothes always go into the drier dripping wet since the spin cycle is never successful. It takes up to 6 cycles on my drier (which is also not very efficient) to dry my clothes enough to wear. I don't have time to stand by a washer for 2 hours (it often takes this long) to make sure it isn't soaking my clothes more than necessary and desperately trying to distribute the weight. I'd be better off hand washing my clothes. Total waste of money. Not interested in buying machinery from this company again if they maintain any level of pride in this failure.
I bought this LG Washing Machine 2 years ago and it is horrible, I cannot choose the water temperature I want, you have to balance the loads as everything spins into a ball and makes the machine unbalanced, never can get enough water in it and clothes do not come out clean most times, especially Jeans. I would never recommend this machine to anyone and I am very very disappointed in LG for making this machine!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had nothing but issues w this washer. Always unbalanced thus it takes all day too do one load of laundry unless I watch it so it doesn't keep filling back yoo trying to kennel the load (which buy the way never happens) regardless of the load size. Doesn't clean well either, have found soiling still on just cleaned clothes. Very disappointed w this product and I have many other LG products. Made very poorly and habe done nothing to improve our overt to fix know issues.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks nice and is quite quiet. I like the top loading feature. It plays pleasant tones when a load is finished. However, I add an extra rinse to every cycle since there is no agitator to "stir" up the contents of the load. Although it has a large capacity, it doesn't clean bedding very well.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, easy to use
Doesn't get the clothes as clean as other machines

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was going to take 1-2 months for the parts to come in and hubby to have time to fix the old machine. So we bought this as a back up washer.
Set up was simple, and use of the machine is pretty simple. However, the clothes just do not get as clean as they do in either our other front loader, or in any other top loader I have owned in the past.
First, there is NO AGITATOR. And yes, I knew this when I bought it, but the sales rep really pushed how great the machine was and how much more gentle it is on clothes, while still getting them clean.
The clothes only swish back & forth very gently (even on the heavy duty load setting). There is never any aggressive swishing going on. Untreated stains on clothes that have come out in our other machine, needed to be pre-treated and washed several times before the stain would come out.
With larger loads, the clothes never got completely wet, or any standing water to swish the clothes in.
We use this one in a pinch, but, really, I wish I had gone with a machine that has an agitator in it.
I was basically unhappy with the washing machine from the start. Not enough water to cover my clothing and clothes did not get clean. Most often I had to wash the clothes twice.
Clothes don't come out clean every time. You just can't agitate well with a top loader that uses clothes to agitate vs the agitator in the traditional top loader. We also have hard water which contributes to the issue. We now use a water softener with some improvement. Features are cool and the machine is very quiet. If using powder many times it doesn't rinse well.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, easy to use
