[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After purchasing several other brands, I decided to try LG. I had several LG small devices and they were reliable so "What the heck". This washer has been trouble free and for electronic programming it is very easy to operate and does better than I had anticipated. I would certainly recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought unit one year ago. Plenty of space, and good temperature balance. Only complaint is that the water dispenser runs slowly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this over two years ago and like most buyers, at the 3 years mark it breaks down. It doesn't clean your clothes well. There is a nasty water smell in the bottom of the washer. You cannot get to it, to clean it out. Very disappointed in this machine
we only had the LG washing machine for 3 years now and the past few months its been having issues. It always stops washing clothes at 22 minutes and give us an UE or OI code. Not worth the money if the LG products only last 3 years.
I bought this machine 4 years ago. Luckily I bought the extended warranty. From the first load I had problems getting the machine to finish a cycle due to being unbalanced. I tried numerous loading techniques. Had a repairman come out who did nothing but say it was fine. He did not run a load of clothes. Struggled with the machine for many more months thinking the problem was my problem with loading. During this period of time I had 2 knee replacements. My daughter in-law refused to use my machine. She laundered my clothes at her house. So, on to round two. Called the warrenty people to get the machine fixed. The fellow replaced a part. Didn't check to see if the machine spun out and left. There was no improvement. Called again. Different company came out. He said he knew what was wrong, but had to order a part. Three weeks later after I called them several times, the part was installed. We ran a load of towels that did not spin out. Repair guy calls LG who says need to try a different part. I had to wait without a machine another 3 weeks. The new part was installed, but but the machine did not work. Since I bought the extended warranty, LG refunded the purchase price of my machine and I bought a GE washing machine. This new technology LG machine is poorly designed with the whole spin system designed around magnets an a single spindle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer as an "upgrade" from what I had before. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! This washer does NOT get my clothes clean. I now have to pre-treat my clothes and scrub every little thing on the clothes. Then I have to use Oxi-Clean and detergent. Most of the time I also have to do this whole process multiple times. I regret buying this washer, but I feel I am stuck with it now.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with top loader. Several friends have had front loaders that burn out. This was recommended by sales person. He said front loaders hang on a bearing and they burn out. This machine cleans as well or better than any machine I had in the past
