[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this washer and accompanying dryer for 3 years. The dryer is wonderful and I have no complaints. The washer is incapable of washing without becoming "uneven". We have tried as suggested by placing clothing by weight around the drum like a donut, small/large loads, making sure the washer is level and nothing works. I despise this washer so much that I am considering taking it somewhere to have it crushed because I could not in good conscience sell it or give it to another person. I feel taken advantage of for spending the amount of money that I did on this piece of garbage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer has been a nightmare since new with the UE out of balance problem. After 3 years to the date of purchase I junked this machine and bought a Maytag washer with an agitator. Wash time is now 45 minutes compared to 2 to 4 hours. Saving water and electric is also a plus. I will never purchase a LG product again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this washer for a few years. It started out great and for the last 6-8 months it throws an unbalanced code. I can not find a solution. I would never recommend this product to anyone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this unit and matching dryer about 3 years ago. The large capacity and 10 year drum warranty attracted me to this model. However this is THE worst washer I've ever had. The cycles are insanely long. And regardless of the amount of clothing you put in it the machine gives a "UE" error code and stops. You have to then readjust everything and restart it. You then get to do the same thing again about 4 minutes later.
I should have never purchased the LG given the experience I had with their phones. I will not purchase another product from them again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An absolute nightmare. This machine can't do a basic load of wash without unbalancing. I wouldn't mind if it would just stop, but it tries to fix itself by re-filling and re-filling and re-filling.... It sucks water and electricity like a monster. After two years of this, my wife wants to take it to the dump. What a waste of $$$.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this washer coming up on 4 years and within the last month it will not run through a full cycle. It constantly reads UE and no amount of adjusting or different size loads helps, this even happens during the Tub Cleaning cycle. We've tried resetting the washer and it makes no difference. I'm very upset with this washer. These products are built to break. The computers fail which causes them to be inefficient and worthless without spending a pile more on an extended warranty. Money, utility, and time wasters.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It takes all day to wash one load. As the balance gets off and it starts to load with water. You have to stand over it to make sure it drains and spins. Stopping it manually to reset it to spin.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer because the sales talked us up on it. Heard LG was great. True if buying kitchen appliances. Our washer has been nothing but problem after problem. Never again will I buy an LG. It shouldn't take 3 1/2 hrs to do a 35 min wash!!
