This washer cleans well.

I am very happy with this washer. It cleans well and it's quiet. It takes about an hour to do a normal load of laundry unless you use a second rinse which makes it 1 hour and 17 minutes. A second rinse is recommended. At first, I thought that was ridiculously long, but my clothes are cleaner and the spin cycle is very effective. My clothes need less time in the dryer ( I have an old dryer, not an HE one) so in the long run, I am not taking any more time to get my laundry done. I have been very happy with this washer, and I recommend it.

Only one drawback

I finally replace my 20+ year old washer and dryer with this wonderful LG set. The styling is elegant and beautiful, the functionality is easy and comprehensible, and the quietness of the machines is amazing.
The only drawback is that my 5'0" fiancé has a problem reaching to the bottom of the tub, but I don't mind helping to fish out that one or two socks in the bottom.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design

I've had this washer for ~5 weeks now. It took a while to get used to an agitator free machine. Uses far less water but cycles take 30% longer then previous washer. I've yet to have an out of balance issue and simply load it as I've always loaded a washer...like clothes together, etc. I've yet to use many of the features and probably won't need most of them. Machine spins the clothes practically dry so drying time in dryer or on clothes line is very short...a nice savings in electric!

I bought this machine after my daughter got the same model. It's awesome-no more trying to figure out the load size-it does it automatically. No more center column to get clothes all tangled on-it's a great machine & cleans great. It also saves on your water bill. Have no complaints.

I just purchased both the washer and dryer about a month ago. I love this washer. One of the cons would be how long it takes to wash clothes but that is the only thing that bothers me. Overall it is a great product and investment. The clothes come out super clean and smelling amazing.

Love this washer and good value

I have had my new washer for a couple of months and I love it, it does take some getting use to because it does use a lot less water however my clothes come out nice and clean, the spin cycle does seem to take a lot of the water out because it takes less time to dry the clothes which is a plus. I would recommend this washer.
