Horrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As is with most everyone else, this machine has the lowest efficiency possible due to the UE error code issue when the load is not at all uneven. Waste of water, electricity and time.

Terrible machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is machine is beautiful, but that's it. It uses too much water by continually refilling to balance the load. It takes a day to do one load because of this. I hate this machine. I regret buying it. I will be selling it to get rid of it. It has gotten worse over time. Had I realized it sooner I would have returned it to the store.

Worst washer I've ever owned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my washer for 3 years and one month and the regret began within two weeks of purchase.
A. Constantly gets off balance and because the alarm isn't adjustable I never hear it so when I go to put clothes in the dryer I discover I have to redistribute the load and often 2 or 3 times in one load. Laundry day sometimes takes 2 days!
B. Odor. YES, I clean it as recommended. YES, I buy the more expensive "recommended" detergent. My clothes smell, especially towels, I had to purchase thin, cheap, towels because all the thick fluffy ones smell. I can't understand how my clothes are clean if they smell and if the dirt is sticking to the washer tub are any of my clothes really getting clean anyway.

Frequently stops due to unbalanced load

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this machine for nearly two years and it has been a disaster. Anytime we include towels or cotton bedding or anything that tends to be heavy when wet, the machine unevenly distributes them repeatedly. We have to remove each item and manually redistribute them. Not worth buying.

Will not Spin or clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can only use Heavy duty cycle so I can select slow spin. The machine will continually be unbalanced. I sort my laundry and only wash like items because the machine is such a pile. The washer is level and stable but unless you catch it it will try to unbalance itself and end up using 10 times the amount of water it saved. I should have purchased an old style top load with an agitator. My soap and water usage is way higher than the older style and the machine was 3 times the cost.

Great washer until warranty runs out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a great washer for the first 15 months out of the 27 months i've owned it. The LG standard warranty is 12 months. So in the last 12 months, the thing has broken twice with total repair costs closing in on the original purchase price.
