Miserable machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine worked fine for 3 years and then started generating an "out of balance" code. We came to learn that this is a ongoing problem with this machine and that it cannot be fixed. Customer beware on this machine... it is a miserable example of an electronic washer. Even buying the warranty as we did won't get you relief. Our first experience with LG products is a lesson to avoid them entirely.

It's works ok so far - three years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate having so many buttons which I never use. It is definitely hard to reach inside to get the clothes out - much too deep. the other thing I hate is that the cover slams down on my head when I am getting the clothes out - basic engineering mistake! I've had this since 2014 and it is still working. That's the good part. It washes the clothes.
Pros: Performance

Does NOT get clothes clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer as an "upgrade" from what I had before. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! This washer does NOT get my clothes clean. I now have to pre-treat my clothes and scrub every little thing on the clothes. Then I have to use Oxi-Clean and detergent. Most of the time I also have to do this whole process multiple times. I regret buying this washer, but I feel I am stuck with it now.

Not enough water

I was basically unhappy with the washing machine from the start. Not enough water to cover my clothing and clothes did not get clean. Most often I had to wash the clothes twice.

Nice machine but questionable cleanliness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks nice and is quite quiet. I like the top loading feature. It plays pleasant tones when a load is finished. However, I add an extra rinse to every cycle since there is no agitator to "stir" up the contents of the load. Although it has a large capacity, it doesn't clean bedding very well.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, easy to use

Awful Washing Machine

I bought this LG Washing Machine 2 years ago and it is horrible, I cannot choose the water temperature I want, you have to balance the loads as everything spins into a ball and makes the machine unbalanced, never can get enough water in it and clothes do not come out clean most times, especially Jeans. I would never recommend this machine to anyone and I am very very disappointed in LG for making this machine!!!!

It seems wash; i.e., whites, do not get as clean as with previous machine containing an agitator. The loads at times get unbalanced and must be shifted. Articles, particularly bedding sheets, get "bubbled up" and one cannot tell if the underneath layers get washed properly.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This washing machine is the biggest piece of junk I ever owned. Almost every load is off balance there for it just keeps running!
