Sleek design. Easy and accessible controls. Not too noisy. The automatic sensors take a lot of thought out of the preparation for washing. Good energy rating.

Excellent performance, but not for short persons. Need stool to reach clothes in washer. Fancier programs than necessary.

I really like the panel to the front of the machine. Much easier to reach and see for us senior citizen. The chimes are an added touch. It makes it more personal to me. It is also a quiet machine.

This product has design flaws

I purchased this washer but returned it to the store. You cannot Presoak a load of laundry and also use Fabric Softener in the Rinse. You must pick one option or the other. I wanted to do both. Maybe I could have used a Rinse/Spin cycle and then returned to the machine and set up for a Wash cycle but why should I have to double my workload?
Also, the vent on the door (which is meant to keep mildew from growing) lets a lot of smells out. Strong odors from both dirty water and bleach permeated my laundry room.
I did like the control panel's location at the front of the washer. And the glass door for viewing the laundry's progress.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cleans clothes with the right amount of water. Senses the size load and does not overfill. No agitator to get your clothes balled up. No soap residue.

A great washer - efficient & economical

Purchased the LG model WT1101CW after researching and comparing against similar capacity washers. I also read through numerous reviews on various sites that made the LG appliance an obvious choice. The washer performs as described and leave clothes nearly dry after the rinse and spin cycles. The washer is also convenient to use and energy efficient.

Easy to use. Cycles are all pre-set with time and temp. It is quiet, sometimes I have to check to see if it's on. I love the controls in the front. I like the way the machine will balance itself out if loaded unevenly.
