After following directions, great clothes washing

This washer is saving utility expense and time in the dryer. The clothes feel different/softer than with my old washer. I haven't yet experienced all the possibilities of this washer; but haven't had a failure either. It's a little like learning to ride a bike= keep the balance. Hope I'm not doing something wrong when I reach inside and turn the tub a bit to reach something small on the far side.

Great washing machine!

My front-loader died and I needed to replace it. Decided on this one because of the large capacity, the controls in front, and the LG name. I have not been disappointed! The features are numerous and easy to use. The only complaint I have is that it is difficult to reach all the way to the bottom of the drum - and I am 5'6" tall. I have to use a "reacher" to pull out those last few items on the bottom. Aside from that, I am very pleased!

Drying time reduced significantly

This dryer is amazingly quiet. It drys most of our loads in 30 - 35 minutes. It drys everything effectively including delicates. Looking forward to our electricity bill being reduced.

I am absolutely pleased with the lg 1101 series washer and dryer! My clothes have never been cleaner! Never, have I ever been happier about wanting to do my laundry!!!! No more worrying about your washer being thrown off balance and sounding like a train running through your house! The smart balance drum adjusts itself! I absolutely love these appliances!!!!!

not enough water to clean

i have had this machine for a couple of weeks now and i am soo tired of it. it is constantly running because i have to rewash every load. -sometimes three times! i am dreading the water and gas bills, ugh.
there is not enough water and it agitates so little/slow, my clothes have dirt and lint and soap streaks all over them after being "washed"

Cycles run much longer than the time indicated on the display, fills with water when showing it is in spin cycle, and a serious waster of water and time, Have to stop and restart. Way too much money for something not to work properly.

Aft several months of deciding I picked this washer because it uses cold water, it balances itself, and items fit into the washer and it has the fantastic direct drive.. Everything fits into the washer easily. But if you are short as I am, buy some stepstools too. I have to climb up on something to try and unbalance a load that would not balance. I believe when they set this machine up they should take the time to explain the codes and settings. And how to lift a short person out of the washer is one of them.
