This is my first HE washer and dryer and the first time buying an LG product. I did a lot of online research and read reviews online and that convinced me to buy LG. I'm very happy with my purchase. The washer does a great clean job and the sensor on the dryer is fantastic - I don't have to worry about forgetting to check it. I read the manual thoroughly and once you do, it is easy to use. It is important to read the manual because operating an HE appliance is very different from the old fashioned agitator washer. If it is not done correctly, it will affect the results of your wash.I will definitely recommend LG washer/dryer to my friends.

Cool looking machine, ok performance

I have had this washer about a month. Very cool looking washer. Very excited to see bright whites button, but whites come out no whiter than my old washer. Doesn't appear to spin fast but clothes come out drier than old machine, so I'm saving on drying time, but I'm not sure they are cleaner, especially the whites. Wish there was a volume control for little tune at end-can't hear when wash is done when I'm upstairs. Called LG because blinking light that shows what cycle it's on is out of synch-blinking on spin, but was still rinsing. They told me the lights are just an estimate--weird answer. The lights should be accurate!

We purchased this washer over a month ago and I am very happy with it. I was used to a top loader with an agitator and no electronic buttons. So I had to experiment with the buttons and how to use the machine to its best ability. But once I figured it out its very easy to use. I would highly recommend this machine for the quality and price!

Best washer we've ever owned!

This is our 2nd LG washer as we moved across country and left our older one behind. We have thoroughly enjoyed the ease of using this appliance and appreciate the thought that has gone into the layout of the various features.
We also love the quietness of the machine as it is located near a home office.

I was a little intimidated at first but with very little effort I was able to understand how easy it is to set up each load from delicates to over sized loads.

This washer replaced a 12 year old top loader and I was skeptical to buy a washer without an agitator, but this is an excellent appliance with tons of features, extremely quiet and simple to use.
Clothes come out cleaner and dryer, which of course cuts down on drying time.
My husband sat me down and thanked me for buying this washer. He said he loved it because now he can was his coveralls at home (which he did and they came remarkably clean) and its one of the best purchases I've made. That's HUGE coming from a perfectionist!

One half of a very good pair of appliances

Washer works well. Had some minor issue with load balancing when mixing a blanket in with sheets. No issue when only washing sheets by themselves, or blankets by themselves.

It took me a while to adjust to loads taking longer to wash but I can see that washer is much easier on my clothes and feel I am saving money on water bills.
