I've had my new washer for about one month, and so far am excited about how it's been working out. My clothes are noticeably cleaner than with my old machine and with the numerous load settings, it gives you a good selection. I like that you can view the wash through the lid and can actually see that the washer uses just the right amount of water to do the job, and the efficient spin cycles truly do leave your wash drier, so time in the dryer isn't as long. I've also noticed that this washer seems easier on my laundry than my old agitator model. The soap dispenser spray feature is nice, as it guarantees an even distribution of soap solution over the entire load, vs. my previous machine, where you put the detergent in the bottom of the tub. And talk about capacity, wow, I feel it easily competes with front loader models. This washer is quiet, has a tub-clean cycle and has a collapsible handle on the lid, if space is cramped by cabinets in the laundry room. When shopping for my new washer, I was attracted by the fact it has a direct drive with a 10 yr. warranty. Hopefully I won't need to find out how the remote troubleshooting feature works, but I guess it is suppose to save a service trip when one can be avoided. Since I have only had my washer for a short time, I can't speak to customer service at LG, but their emails with helpful tips and their desire for feed back would imply an interest in their products once they've left the retailer. If you're shopping for a new washer, this ones definitely worth your time to check out!

I recently purchased this washer and have so far bee extremely please.
the research i read online prior to making my purchase mostly recommended not to purchase a "hi tech" washer with all the electrical bells and whistles. that and old school knob and dial route was the way to go. Modern technology just isn't built to last.
but after talking to the salesman at the store and doing additional reading I am confident in my purchase. Ad besides a washer with a belt is going to break prior to this washer. the belt will wear out and need to be replaced.
Loved the ease of use and efficiency of this product. Tons of washing options that are clear and easy to understand. very user friendly.
I am always happy with my LG purchases.

I traded in my front load washer after 8 years of the machine moving all over my laundry room, loud noises, and my whole house in a shimmy during the spin cycle. This washer is just the opposite--don't even notice it's on. Love it.

I recently purchased this washer and was a little hesitant about the purchase because of the electronic panel. So far I am extremely pleased. I researched the product on Consumer Report and online. All research pointed to this particular washer. It is very easy to use and quiet. I am very confident and satisfied in my purchase.

Cleans awesome, my husband is in construction, and his clothes get very dirty, and this washer gets them so nice and clean. Yet is so easy on delicates. This is definitely a 5 star rating, hands down !

I really like my new top loader I been in the dark ages for so long with the conventional washer and seeing how this washer allows you to set your wash to exactly the type of laundry I have is amazing. Thanks for making my life of doing laundry not only easy but enjoyable as well.
