Looked at a lot of dryers before buying this one. Very large compared to the others. Ease of use with the controls. Built well and very quite. Like the design as well.

Bought both washer and dryer. Wanted top load as I fold clothes on top of washer and dryer. Would prefer it to be flat instead of the slight slant to front. Like the number of options. Have had to try several to come up with what works for me. Found that really large load comes out wrinkled so I limit size of load. Don't like to iron! Permanent press works in most instances. Things that don't completely dry then I just punch permanent press again. Dryer still senses and gets them dry in just a few minutes.
Pros: Performance, easy to use

Great Dryer, Great Value

This dryer is easy to use and works great! It dries the clothes much faster than my old dryer. It is much cheaper than most of the other dryers I looked at. I know I would not use the steam option enough to justify paying for that feature. But this dryer has lots of features I do use, small load, towels, and more dry. I wasn't sure about the not quite flat top of the dryer, but now I like it because it doesn't allow me to just leave things on top of the dryer to clutter it up. Thanks LG for a great product!

Does not fully dry heavy loads.

While the dryer has good features and dries most loads acceptably, a heavy load does not get dried adequately without additional drying using a manual setting. Also, many settings do not allow me to change temperature.
Pros: temperature
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet & efficient

I love the variety of settings as well as how quiet it is. With the combo of the washer & the dryer, my combined wash & dry time is incredibly quick. The washer spins clothes out so well that the dryer hardly has to work. My clothes are done in no time!

This dryer is great. It runs so quiet and does not bounce all over the room. The features are great for this machine. Clothes do not wrinkle. Matches the washer just right.

Great dryer

We bought this dryer with the matching washer after moving into a home with old appliances. This dryer is fast and has lots of options/features. The only thing we have noticed is that when drying sheets, towels or comforters, it usually takes a couple times to dry, even when put on the "bulky" load, or a "towel" load. I know that if things get twisted in there, it's hard to get it all dry, so it's not a huge deal to put it back in and re start. We have never had a problem with it, it's very sturdy and quiet. We love our new set!
